About this cottage rental
4 Church Cottages is a pretty period, brick and flint cottage, located in the charming village of Hempstead, just a short drive from Holt and the North Norfolk coastline. This two bedroom cottage has been lovingly renovated by the current owners to offer a delightful mix of stylish modern living and traditional charm.
On entering the cottage from the generous entrance porch, you are welcomed in a wonderful open plan living space, cleverly arranged with a cosy sitting room area, separate dining space and well equipped modern fitted kitchen. The whole space is bright and sunny with light flooding in from windows on three sides and there is a wood burning stove in front of the comfy corner sofa to curl up in front of in the cooler months. The cottage style dining table and four chairs sits between windows looking out to the utterly picturesque thatched church beyond and the kitchen is arranged to the rear of the central chimney stack. The modern fitted kitchen is a great size and well equipped for keen cooks to create tasty treats. There is a freestanding electric oven with hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washer dryer.
Upstairs there are two double bedrooms and a family bathroom, arranged off the landing. Both bedrooms have windows looking out the front or side of the cottage and have bedside tables with lamps and storage for clothes. The extremely smart bathroom has floor to ceiling natural stone tiling, a full size bath with mains pressure shower over, WC and basin with vanity unit.
Outside
Approached from the quiet road, along the driveway shared the three other church cottages, there is parking for one car adjacent to the garden fence.
The lovely private garden is through a gate, just a few steps from the front door of the cottage. This delightful green space is a peaceful refuge from the hustle and bustle of day to day living. There are spaces to enjoy the sunshine, dine al fresco or find a shady spot to relax with a book.
One four-legged friend is welcome, but there is a small charge of £25. Please let us know if you wish to bring a pet.
