My stay at the Babylon Hotel was just what I needed. I was looking for a convenient location near the Nieuwspoort building for a short visit, and it certainly delivered. I primarily used the hotel for sleeping and showering, so I didn’t have the chance to experience the restaurant or bar amenities. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, although the decor in the hallways has a slightly old-fashioned feel. I appreciated the minimalist design of the rooms. Additionally, I was pleased to find complimentary water, coffee, and tea. The staff at the hotel were really nice and attentive. I arrived early and was able to store my luggage until check-in time, which was very convenient. I also checked out early and appreciated being allowed to store my luggage again. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located less than a five-minute walk from The Hague Central Station.

I enjoy staying at Babylon Hotel. Since you are asking specifically about cleaning, I think it is fine that the room is not cleaned every day, for instance for environmental purposes.

Generally the stay was very good. However when we asked if it might be possible to switch to a room with a walk in shower for my elderly mum - we were told the hotel only had one such room and it was occupied. Surely hotel this size would nee more accessible rooms?!

Room was ok as such but only cleaned it every two days. They were supposed to fill the complimentary minibar after two days, which they didn’t. They also only replaced two of four coffee pods then. One of two elevators was out of order for the entire three day stay, which is a problem if you’re going to the ninth floor. Breakfast below average.

In need of a renovation, a bit worn down. Breakfast area should be kept more clean/freash. Location is very good and access to transportation including bikes

Interior old fashioned. not state of the art, shabby.
Service slow, no exchange of towels 3 nights, requested coffee tabs not delivered or the wrong ones, services called by phone did not react or were not helpful to connect to person in charge.

The hotel is conveniently located and is very near to all the main attractions of The Hague. The public transport is at a walking distance with tram, train everything that someone needs. Beach is also at a very close distance. But we sadly had bad experience with hotel during our stay.
Safety is one the most important criteria in any case, and we were checked in to a room which had very unsafe conditions for a family with 2 kids, one on them being just 3 years old. It had a broken and unsafe shower area. When we entered the room, we informed it immediately to front desk but we were told that hotel is fully booked so we have no option. And option only came a day later. Till that time safety was at full stake even at such a high room rent that we were paying for our family room. The pity is that hotel and Expedia both the passing the ball to each other since last 10 days and neither of the parties have come back with an answer justifying why we were left in such a situation.
The summary is this- book this hotel at your own risk

We had a great time here. The train station was in the direct neighborhood, as well as some restaurants. The Centre was only a few minutes away.
Room was clean and well equipped.

The checkin required entering a lot of personal information a second time. Positive was free minibar refreshed every day. The bed was very comfortable and the room could black out and was quiet - Until construction started Monday morning. Lucky I was checking out but wouldn't mind some notice about the next door construction interruptions (not good if working remote for example)
The bathroom had a nice tub but the sink had a ledge over it that made it impossible to use without discomfort or injury. Very weird.
I was given room 911 in the Babylon hotel - with vaguely satanic or baal worshipping overtones, big red lamps and accents. Very entertaining. The LEDs over the bed were annoying and it was impossible to turn them off alone. For a hotel called Babylon it met my expectations and the location was great. The park across the street is a great place to relax, and you are about a 15 min walk from the center.

Very convenient location except for the construction next door. Noise was not a problem as we faced an inner courtyard. Room was large, with 2 chairs but no place to open a suitcase. Had to place 2 suitcases on the floor. Only had 4 hangers. I asked for more & there were none. Stayed 2 nights. Didn’t have heat 1st night & room was very cold. I asked for help & was given a portable heater. It worked well. Room is very dark to do any work at the desk. Could use a desk light. I asked for change of towels after 1 night because nothing was drying in the cold room. The towels never arrived but with the heat, it worked out.

Our stay at Babylon Hotel was really nice. The hotel is modern and clean and felt really comfortable. Only a 10 minute walk to some of the main sights in the city. You can rent bikes for 10 euros for the day which was quite fun for exploring the area.

The hotel is part of the new Babylon development, handily close to the main railway station. It's a modern hotel, like most modern hotels, but with one distinct different that proved to be a real problem for me: the room was very dark. I don't just mean in natural light, but also artificial. At first I thought a bulb had blown or there were more lights I hadn't switched on! This may not matter to you, but if - like me - you needed to work, then the gloom is enough to make working on papers a real problem. I actually had to work in a cafe, instead.
