Overall a nice hotel. Staff were pleasant and professional. Room was comfortable. The only issue was with the shower which wouldn’t stay at a consistent temperature. It went back and forth between freezing and scalding which made it impossible to take a shower

The room seemed clean and smelled clean upon entering but the toilet bowl looked like it hadnt been cleaned for a while, the soap dish in the shower had hair in it and when we pulled the comforter back there was a spot of blood on it.

Our stay was quite loud and the outside appearance could use some work. Otherwise our stay was nice!

More attention to detail in the cleaning is needed, there were towels from previous guests in hooks in bathroom. The door frame was slightly separated from wall, letting in draft. Some renovations were underway.
Bed was comfy though and the decor was nice. Front desk staff was friendly and efficient.

I've never stayed in a hotel that didn't have 24hr. Coffee available. Restaurant was closed on Mondays.
The first room we were in, had a band aid and a kotex wrapper under the floor lamp !
Floor was not washed in a very long time..
AC was set at 68° but it stayed at 75..
Sp we switched rooms..
Much better.

Wi-Fi cut out the whole time, even after we called the front desk for help. Part of the hotel has been renovated, but we were definitely not in one of those rooms.

Stayed for a Penn state football. Will never stay here again. Room just felt dirty. Asked for extra pillows and blankets they were disgusting. The blanket looked so gross and old had holes in it. The other blanket was like sandpaper, not even sure you can call it a blanket. Both pillows they gave us had stains all over the sheet. And don’t think you’re going to go back and relax in your room and watch tv. No HD channels so you are basically watching a 24” picture on a 40” tv and it’s blurry. For $300+ would expect at least something decent, nope!

Older property than shows signs of wear and tear. Staff was fine. It was OK for the price paid. You get what you pay for.

This property is old. For the price, it needs renovation! Way outdated and also, we were on the outside, which I didn’t know when I booked it…

Absolutely terrible … filthy hotel room , from the shower to the floors to the flies in the room, to the former tenants’ drink left in the microwave.

Convenient location to Penn State for move-in. Parking lot spots very narrow & difficult to navigate - but available. Hotel is very old & run down & price was outrageous for condition of room.

Shower head and faucet are horrible. Need updating! Tub is ancient.

Room was clean. Thermostat didn’t appear to work; when we increased the temp the room got colder. There was a domestic altercation in the middle of the night with a man out in the hallway yelling profanity at his significant other which was disturbing. The room itself was fine, but didn’t have an exterior window which I discovered is hard for me. Wouldn’t stay in that type of room again. Also, there are several exterior glass doors from the parking lot into the building that don’t lock, some of which don’t even latch. It’s the least secure hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

I had no issue with the hotel itself, it was Hotels.com that I took issue with. Hotels.com charged me $10 extra per night for a room on the website referred to as a King Double Room when in fact it was just the regular King Room that the hotel offers. There was another picture of a King Room on the website that was $10 less per night than this fake King Double Room and I found out from the front desk that that room didn’t exist in the hotel. I contacted Hotels.com for a refund and was on the phone with them for 42 minutes before they decided to issue the refund. The rep tried to convince me that the fake “King Double Room” cost more because it could sleep two people and the other King Room only sleeps one person. Well this was the biggest load of crap I’ve ever heard and I let them know it. In fact, the regular King Room states it sleeps two people and the fake King Double Room says nothing. The front desk informed me of multiple issues they were having with Hotels.com. This was false advertising so beware. Call the hotel first and confirm what you’re seeing in the pictures and descriptions. Again, the hotel itself was nice and I didn’t have any issues while I stayed there. It was Hotels.com that was the problem after I called them out.
