Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. At $500/night for a mildew smelling room with no facilities available (yet they still charge resort fee), this plays absolutely blows. - hot tub permanently closed - bar permanently closed - bikes not available because they lost the keys - tap water tastes like chlorine, they charge for bottles water in the room ($7 for a small boxed water) - staff complete incompetent STAY AWAY. Motel 6 is better

Missed out on the 5 stars as there was water outage on check out day. Otherwise there is some construction going on but all to create an even better zen of a resort. The main pools open until 2am which is a lovely touch for a moonlight swim. Would go back.

I asked a month ago for a quiet room. At the front desk she said that my request has been taken in consideration and my room was in quiet place. Jackhammer woke me up. The room overlooked not only the street with big construction work but also the parking. The swimming was also in construction. I went in this hotel few years ago and loved it but this time I was more than disappointed. all the furniture around the pool were old, damaged and faded.The Ace is not what it used to be.There are many better hotels in PS. Next time I will choose another one

Love staying at the Ace Hotel. The Palms location has amazing staff but the shower in the room had a sulfurous smell to it. While not a deal breaker it was not great to smell that when showering. Would also be amazing if there was an Awards Program for Ace Hotels.

I was disappointed with my stay at ACE. When we first arrived it was difficult to figure out where to check in. The entrance was complete blocked by painters. There were no visible signs directing where to go. As we got ready to go to the pool, noticed that part of it was blocked off and had to take a long detour. So once again there were no signs. Overall, I was upset that we were not informed about the construction happening on the street or hotel.

Perfect location, Very hipster. Place to be seen, low key service. Beautiful spaces. Tv didnt work, didnt get room maintenance// they called day before i left to ask if i wanted it( staff very friendly) overall charming , very palm springs vibe. And yes i recommend it

Their pools are filthy, even at 8:30am oil and dirt floating on the top and the tile was gross! My room had toenail clippings on the floor and a muddy dirt footprint on the top of toilet seat and a hair ball was left in the sink however the Acr still stands as a swanky and fun spot for travelers just beware of cleanliness won't be great

We arrived around noon with check-in at 3pm, but they provided us wristbands to use the pool. We asked for a room close to the pool, and they showed us the closest one and took our number down to text us when it was ready so we head to the pool. At the pool there are no chairs open but definitely less people in the pool to account for every reserved chair. It would have been nice if the pool service kept an eye on people leaving towels to open more chairs up so the two of us didn't have to share one chair. We also ordered drinks with the runners several times and they did not bring us any of what we ordered. A few hours go by at the pool and the sun is telling us to take a break, so I go check on the room. No other guests at the counter I walk up and talk to the same person who checked us in asking if any other rooms are available sooner, she then turns around and hands me the key to the original room offered. So it had been ready, but they hadn't texted us about it. The room was nice, cool, and clean as well as the bathroom. Unfortunately though, the toilet paper was awful which is a small detail that says a lot about how much a hotel prides itself. Overall, the hotel campus was nice and the room was solid. However the service was a big miss and we were not impressed or inclined to visit the hotel again.

Love the Ace and poolside service and love the ability to check in early if available. Only issue is pool DJ was unnecessarily loud even after multiple people were complaining and was rude and still never changed the volume.
