The first room I was assigned to was marked as clean but when I arrived in the room there was spilled soda on the counter, the comforter had stains on it, there were dead flies on the counters, a used glass was on the counter and the room had a dank smell. I went to the desk to ask for a new room - they obliged - and this second room was marginally better. It still had a few dead bugs on the counters but the smell was better and the sheets appeared clean. The counters appeared to have been wiped clean. The mid-night was not quiet. There was a gathering of people and cars about 2 am outside of the registration area of the Hotel honking horns, yelling, pushing each other and generally disrupting the quiet at the hotel. This lasted about 1 hour before they finally dispersed and I could go back to sleep in the too soft bed with a flat pillow.

Tried to charge me $25 extra for showing up 30 mi utes early. I said i only wanted to place my bag in the room and go to a conference. They got nasty. I threatened to leave they said they already have my money. Finally someone let me put my luggage in the roon with no charge. I will never stay there again.

Orbitz states pay at checkin . Property only accept credit card. Others take ash w/ exorbitant deposit. Wouldn’t accept that. Car outside building honked horn as is on lookout like an employment situation.

The front desk staff was very friendly, but the sheets were dull and stained with paint and other nastiness. Long black hairs in the sink. I’d definitely not stay here again.

Terrible smell in the room. But good thing we were able to open the window, which actually had another inconvenience, we didn't feel safe, but no other choice. The only thing were good - is friendly staff working there.

Clean, disinfected and available upon check-in. A home away from home whn visiting Utica. No breakfast, no pool, no room service but no problem. No frills at a reasonable price. I just wish prices across the would remain consistent. Sometimes $90.00 up to $150.00 for a standard room including taxes per night.

I feel there should has been excess to elevator service. Very hard to carry, especially, when you are staying on the second floor, luggage, coolers, etc. Overall, it was very convenient and quiet for us because of the reasoning for our trip.

For the price this property was very good. The room was super clean and the bed was comfortable. There was no maid service for the four nights we stayed. You have to go get towels from front desk and beds did not get made, but we didn’t care. Lots if guests hanging outside their rooms but no loud noise at night. I felt safe getting ice at night. Front desk person was super nice. She was definitely overworked and deserves a raise!

Although we didn’t expect modern comforts and amenities, we did expect a clean room, properly furnished with shower towels and washcloths. Unfortunately, the room was not clean, smelled terrible, and a few things were in disrepair. We also had a used towel and wash cloth hanging on the bathroom door hook, which is unacceptable. We had to ask for clean towels. It was obviously a poor experience.
