Precious location and immaculate grounds but the facility is aging and it shows. Loose tiles and broken pool plaster. Tv service is goofy and doesn’t allow occupants to sign in to their personal streaming service. The front desk discriminates against Expedia reservations

didn't realize our reservation went through a 3rd party, therefore we didn't get the special 3-nite stay/patio.
room was comfortable but really want the patio rather than a balcony. Grounds are kept very nice--the workers work very hard and efficiently
Very quiet and relaxing stay--pool area good but some people had their dog running around inside--
Really wish you would have morning coffee in lobby area
available for guests--pretty much expected in resort hotels-- Starbucks cafe is a good idea --if you are a Starbucks fan--pastieries were not so good and expensive. Bar area is good but only one employee working and she was doing everything--(felt sorry for her)
We would stay again as we used to live in BS and also former members of the resort. Next time we will reserve maybe a casita. Hope you have a good winter season ahead.

The property is very clean and beautiful. The hotel is old, so expect some wear and tear. The café and market is wonderful and should stay open longer!

We really enjoyed staying at La Casa del Zorro. We stayed in the Deluxe room. The room was very spacious as was the bathroom. It was clean and simply decorated. We had a small balcony facing the pool. The pool area was nice, maybe some of the umbrellas and shades could be replaced especially when it is hot outside and need them. The outdoor areas were nice, but also might need more cleaning and update. We really enjoyed our stay and would defnintely come back.

Coming back when weather is cooler. Very cool old vibe but property was in great shape.
Renovated room, nice shower, and comfortable bed.
Had a weird Roku TV system. I didn’t like that much.
Nice outside seating on patio.

The resort has wonderful activities- pools, fitness center, tennis, running path, etc. We went off-season (June) and there wasn’t much to do off the resort. Many restaurants in town were closed. The resort doesn’t offer breakfast, which would be a nice enhancement.

Outside of town in the dark sky community. Beautiful grounds, trees, fountains and pools. Oh and great margaritas!

Check in was quick and easy. The room was ready early. We loved the quiet and peaceful feel of the property. The rooms are large and had a mini refrigerator in our room for snacks. Would recommend this property.

We had a great stay. Our room was on the second floor, very spacious and tastefully furnished, with comfortable bed, big bathroom, balcony with pool view, and lovely high ceilings. Impeccably clean. It exceeded our expectations in every respect. Nice and helpful staff. Decent restaurant. We are looking forward to our next stay!

We return every year for our anniversary and anytime in between when we can. We stayed in #65- Desert Willow casita this time. Right away, we noticed everything from the website, the property, staff and customer service was stepped up. They now have a Starbucks and snack store! We also took advantage of the spa services and it did not disappoint. Some notable staff that made our stay great were Laurie, Chayce and the new text messaging service! As always, we had a wonderful time in our private casita with pool and having food from the Fox Den. This anniversary was special because we now have a baby and brought him with us to LCDZ and it was his first time in a pool. It was a memorable time and a nice touch that the staff included was placing a pack and play in our casita. I found out that LCDZ is under new ownership and it shows. We can’t wait to return and try all the casitas!

Love the place but it seems over priced. Like 400.00 a nights a bit much for what it is. I could have went to Palm Springs for these prices

The beds were too soft, too high and uncomfortable. Cable service was spotty. Restaurant was overpriced and the quality was so so.
