The only thing that was bad was the view from the room. It had bubble picture on the outside so there was a distorted view out the window. We were on the 34th floor so it would be nice to enjoy the view of the city, especially lit up at night. Otherwise a great hotel to stay at in Vegas

Booked a single King. Check-in was 3p.m. , we arrived late at 5pm and were told there were no single Kings available yet. So they put us in a room with 2 Queens. The room was very clean, but very plain. No in room coffee maker, no fridge or mini-bar, not even a trash can outside of the one in the bathroom. Also we weren't even offered any rewards, discounts or a thank you for accepting the 2 queens. We love staying downtown and typically love the D, Circa and Goldengate. Now we might explore more options.

First time staying there. Very nice hotel. The room we were given was on the side of the where the main stage where musicians perform. Even though we were 23 floors up we heard the loud music until 2 am.

The check-in staff could not find my initial reservation and worked as a team to get me in my room. Great Job!

We check in to our corner room. Every thing seemed fine at about 5pm noise from the street started to get louder and louder. We realized it was coming across the street.
It was a constant loud drumming sound. Even being twenty stories up it was unbearable. I went to the front desk, they were booked up and we could not change rooms. The said it was a rave party,
The noise didn’t stop until after 2 am. It was so loud the windows vibrated. The hotel did not give me my money back.

Honestly loved it for price and convenience it’s perfect. I wish the air was more circulated but it’s a casino in Las Vegas so makes sense lol will forever be coming back

The D desperately needs a 24 cafe. Very limited eating options unless you like chili dogs 24/7. They have a restaurant open for breakfast only. Don’t get it.

Nice clean and modern casino, only problem if you are in a front room do not expect to sleep or bring earplugs to dull the noise from Fremont St experience.

Disappointed we were not made aware that the lobby would be under construction. Paint was almost dripped on me while standing in line to check in. . Then we had an unpleasant attendant while checking in. She was very unprofessional and rude. When we saw the room we were satisfied with the condition and cleanliness, but a bit disappointed that there was no coffee pot and when asking the staff anything, they seemed to have an attitude and acted as if we were bothering them. On the the last day we were woke up early by two employees asking if I had been arrested, which obviously I hadn’t been and had no issues with any cops! she was very unprofessional and said she would be right back and then never returned. Right before I had answered the door, I could hear her talking to another female employee about if I didn’t answer then they would have to clean out my belongings. My question is why didn’t she just call the room if she had any doubt about me not being there! She looked a little to eager to get in that room and clean me out. Also, I had requested late check out so that should have been their first clue that I wasn’t in jail! The workers at this establishment lack a motivation to please their customers and don’t look very happy doing their job. They need training in guest service and hospitality! It’s no fun to feel like your bothering someone just to get a simple answer about something!

The staff was really friendly. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The sound from Fremont street wasn’t too bad. The a/c was a little loud and it didn’t cool the room very well. Also the tv was really small. Overall, it was a good experience and I will stay again

I always live staying at The D. My only issue is there’s no accessible electrical outlet next to the bed to charge my phone. I always have to leave it on the other side of the room.

Booked 6 months in advance for a non-smoking room and was told that only smoking was available, but they’d make a note to get me switched the next day. Unfortunately, they didn’t leave a note and had a second night in a smoking room. This flared up some breathing issues as there’s no way to make a room not seem like a smoking room. Hotel gave me a $25 credit for the bar, which wasn’t able to be used when I asked to add drinks to my room, but they did remove 1 night of resort fees, even though we had 2 nights, of 4, in the smoking room.
Was told smoking/non-smoking is a preference, not a guaranteed thing, so be mindful of the chance you may end up in a similar spot.
Staff was nice enough, the location is great, especially if seeing a show at the event center across the street and you’re in the heart of Fremont. We didn’t find the noise to be an issue, but some may.

The hotel and staff are great. The room is clean and comfortable. The problem is the noise from Fremont street. We were on the 30th floor and the music rattled our window. Not much in food choices but lot's in the surrounding area.
