The room was clean and comfortable. Standard amenities, nothing beyond a typical hotel room. The property did feel very stark and empty despite being a holiday weekend and us not being able to upgrade to a room with a king bed. We had faux wood floors and blinds - carpet and curtains would have made it feel more warm. Maybe we were in a pet friendly room? Got the impression that some rooms are still under renovation and the property is not complete. Very few cars parked there but still quite a bit of noise in the hallway at night. We did not try the breakfast, would be nice if it was offered an additional hour (to 10am instead of 9am). Online check-in did not save much time because the kiosk in the lobby didn't work. Online check-out was convenient.

Horrible having to check in with a machine and remote person. Poor instructions, printer had to be rebooted. I asked for a room on first floor if no elevator, was given a second floor room. Then I roamed around looking for elevator since no one to ask!

Virtual check in was ok, but not great in the evening (from 11;00-3 AM) when we had VERY noisy neighbors. Called three times to get help with loud party that went on until all hours of the night. No one helped at all. I don't think there was anyone actually on site. Breakfast was a joke. cereal bars and packaged pastries. Check out was also virtual, so there was no live person to talk to about our experience. Really should get some compensation for this visit. Will NOT return to this place. We do not have fancy expectations, but a good night's sleep and a real breakfast (as advertised) should be provided to all who stay here.

It was awesome. Room service left us a note welcoming us to the hotel. The aesthetic of the hotel had a 1930’s traveler feel. All the amenities were very clean. The beds were comfy. The room was well lit.
The only thing I would suggest to anyone reading this, either bring food or be prepared to travel a few extra minutes for food. We got in around 7:30/8 at night, and everything had mostly closed down.

The person on the other end was difficult to understand, connection wasn’t great, and didn’t have all of the info necessary to allow us to figure out where our room was. Didn’t tell us there was a second and third building- which is where our room was. After a long day of traveling, it just would’ve been nice to not have to walk through the entire building (and up the stairs with heavy luggage because there’s no elevator.) before realizing we needed to go somewhere else to get to our room. Hotel was renovated and looked fine until you looked closer- just slapped some low end finishes on things with a poor contractor to look updated. Overall it was fine for 1 night but I wouldn’t stay longer or stay again.

I’ve stayed her for the last two years and it’s been amazing. This year though there was ants everywhere. I had two other friends stayed there and they also had ants in their rooms, one was so bad they had to move rooms… to a room with more ants. Unacceptable.

I will not stay at this hotel again, even though the room and grounds were in top shape. The fact that I was checked in by a virtual receptionist was not acceptable. This possibility should be in the description when I was deciding to book. The person on the screen was very kind, but what would have happened if I needed assistance? There was no security .. the doors were open 24 hours. So ...stepping outside of my hotel room door might have meant encountering an unregistered guest!

They do not have a human being on site to help with any issues you may have. Also they do not clean under the bed…remote was missing looked all around for it and husband found it under the bed with an unopened beer, whole lemon and what appeared to be women’s underwear. Gross

The walls are paper thin. At night there was a loud party until around midnight. Then around that time the room next door the guy was talking loudly on his phone around midnight, THEN around 3am the guy in the room next to me plays loud music for hours and I could not sleep. This hotel utilizes an automated check in which was convenient and early check in on cell phone made it even easier. You still have a "live" rep to talk to, and room keys were automatically generated. Only drawback to hotel is there is NO elevator, so if carrying luggage up a flight of stairs is a problem, request a first floor room.

I liked the location of the property as it was very close to my destination. It was also very clean and maintained well.
I did not like being locked out on my second day, room not being cleaned and lack of wifi for my work. I didn't realize that I had to flop the door card for the room cleaning. The kiosk check in seems awkward.

The Kiosk check-in is awful. Worst experience I've have had at any hotel. Your customer service at check-in is not what I expected. I have stayed at this particular hotel on many occasions. California state law forbids any business to scan a govt id and store it in any system. After waiting 15 minutes to check cause there was no one there, not even the kiosk employee, I had a hard time communicating with the person in Columbia. Finally a young lady showed up and had me checked in in 4 minutes. I will probably never stay at this location again.
