Awesome spot in a perfect location with incredibly warm and helpful staff. Great gifts upon arrival and departure; free beverages the whole time; very caring housekeeper. As long as you’re ok climbing 1 or 2 flights of stairs, highly recommended!

What a beautiful boutique experience this was!!! Especially for this price point I was blown away by the location, quality, and hospitality. Great safe area with cute complimentary touches (tequila tasting, beverages, candy bar, rooftop, and courtyard). I even told them it was my partner's birthday and they left a cake and flowers in our room. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to family and friends visiting.

A unique art inspired small hotel in the Roma Norte neighborhood of Mexico City. There are many excellent restaurants and pastry shops nearby. But most of all the staff is super friendly and truly wants their guests to have a wonderful stay. Michelle in particular went above and beyond.
We’ll be back!

Overall had a wonderful stay at NaNa Vida CDMX. The hotel was conveniently located in Roma Norte next to many delicious food options. The front desk staff were very helpful and fun to talk to (Alex & Guillermo). We also liked our room and the beds were comfortable. The only thing that wasn't so great is that the building is pretty old and the doors are thin. We could hear people walking up and down the stairs, when something outside our room was dropped, and lots of sounds from the outside on the street. This wasn't annoying enough not to return. The good things about this hotel definitely outweigh the not so great. I would stay here again if I came to Mexico City.

Everything the other reviewers have said about this place are true (snacks, friendliness, rooftop). But this place should not be confused with a high-end boutique hotel or 4 or 5 star luxury hotel. Rather it has the feel of a "nice backpacker hotel" and if you are considering staying here there are some considerations you should be aware of. The entrance to the NaNa Vida is nondescript and sits on a corner with two busy streets. When you enter you must walk up two flights of stairs to reception on the landing (there is no lobby) Half the rooms are up another flight of stairs and the roof requires yet more climbing, there is no elevator. The public spaces are very small and because wood floors are everyone, sound travels. The rooms lack refrigerators or desks. We stayed a week here with another couple. We stayed in the deluxe king sized room that was situated on the street side with an uneven floor and traffic noise. The other couple booked a standard room and ended up with a small outside window that looked out on another private residence. The staff was terrific and friendly but English was not as common and getting recommendations for things was not as easy as you might find in a different place. The courtyard public space was not esthetically appealing and they do not serve breakfast. Bottom Line, we enjoyed our week here, (thank you staff) but we will probably stay at a more upscale place when we return next time.

Incredible four night experience at NaNa Vida Mexico City. What an amazing, authentic property with uniformly excellent staff. From the complimentary gifts at arrival and departure, the beautiful spacious room and bathroom, the perfect location in arguably the best tourist spot in the whole city for accessing food, drinks and nightlife - NaNa Vida was uniformly excellent.

Incredible stay!! Loved every minute. We walked in on the first day, they took our bags up and even gave us a welcome soap. They were very kind and welcoming (special mention to Julian!!) and always made us feel right at home. Looking forward to our next stay!

This is a fabulous hotel! The moment you arrive you are greeted warmly and given a gift of hand-cut Oaxacan soap. The hotel is in a vintage building that has been modernized without losing its charm: wooden floors, gorgeous rain shower, comfortable bed, and giant flat screen TV. There are private patios on first floor rooms. Communal amenities include free coffee, soda, and mineral water. The location is perfectly safe: the 24-hour desk buzzes you in. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Mexico City!

Awesome boutique hotel right at Roma Norte. Great location, well curated interiors, and super friendly and helpful staff! Loved the little local gifts they offered, as well as the snack bar. Only hiccup was the hot water not working well one night, and the curtains above our bed weren’t blacking out enough. But we would definitely stay here again!

NaNa Vida was pure bliss! The rooms were spacious, stylish, and spotless. We loved the 24/7 coffee and pastry bar, the Mexican candy stash, and the free mezcal! But wait, there's more! Free water, soda, and Gatorade were lifesavers. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the welcome and departure gifts were such a sweet touch. The location was perfect - safe and central. Basically, NaNa Vida turned our first trip to Mexico into an unforgettable adventure. We can't wait to come back!

There are stairs, stairs, and stairs. Steep stairs three flights up and down every time you want to do something. It was very quiet, possibly because we were the only ones there? Never saw another guest. They offer free drinks and candy and are very gracious.
I found the room stark and cavernous, lacking any character. But I don't hang out in my room, so I don't need all the frills. Our rooms window looked out on three other rooms windows, two which appeared to be bathrooms. So ultimately we had to keep our drapes pulled so it was always dark in the room. It was okay, but I wouldn't stay again.

I almost don’t want to talk about how much I enjoyed NaNaVida because I want it to remain my little secret. Haha. NaNaVida was clean, hospitable, personable. The hotel room we stayed in was so comfortable. I loveeeeed the art and the little giveaways. I loved the Mezcal upon arrival. Michelle and Alex were SO warm and friendly. They honestly felt like old friends that I was catching up with whenever I would catch them in the lobby. The hotel was walkable to lots of different places. It was such a quiet peaceful little neighborhood close to lots of places to eat and drink and get morning coffee. Will absolutely stay here again!

Stayed 3 nights here and everything was exceptional. Room and bathroom were big, very clean, and stylishly decorated. White noise machine and ear plugs were also provided since our room (room #8) faced the street. However, street noise was not an issue. The front desk staff were friendly and very helpful. They provided delicious bread/pastries, coffee/tea, water, Gatorade, and Coke. Customer service was also exceptional. Would definitely stay here again if I visit CDMX in the future.
