I wouldn't recommend this place. The sleeping space was uncomfortable to begin with. I had to sleep sideways on my bed because I couldn't fit properly, and I'm not even that tall! Also, a lot of the light bled through the curtains which, when you add all the noise and bad smells, made it kind of unbearable. The room floor, the shower and toilet spaces were also pretty confined; there is barely any space to move in there or to put your belongings. I kid you not, this place made me wish I was sleeping on the streets of Madrid, or on the bench of a nearby park. Please, do yourself a favor and don't sacrifice your comfort for location or convenience, it's just not worth it, especially with so many options nearby.

It was a nice hostel but way too overpriced. I never paid so much in my life for a bed in a hostel (around 67 euros). Not sure if it’s because there is an event in the city or anything else. However, it the price would be a bit lower, I’d say it was a near perfect stay.
It’s a good location, clean, I like the cubicles with the curtains and the lockers.

Best hostal in Madrid, great location like 4 min away from Plaza de España and Palacio Real, a lot of supermarkets around it and coffee shops, for the price is one of the best hostels there is and it’s super comfortable, has a kitchen and fridge so you can save your food

Not the worst experience but it was very different from all the hostels i’ve been to before. The rooms were very tiny and cramped with no natural daylight which I wasn’t a big fan of. The floor space of a 12 bed dorm could barely fit an open suitcase. The lockers were a good size but having to lock and unlock them with a key was a bit of an unnecessary hassle. The lights are on a sensor and the light in the room never went out so I barely slept the whole time I was there. Unfortunately the vibe was very unsociable which was a bit sad so it felt more like a pod hotel than a hostel. I wouldn’t recommend if you’re a super social person but it would’ve been nice if i actually got some sleep.

I have been four days, it's a good place to rest, near to the main touristic places, it is comfortable. Their service is great.

It's a good small/quiet and convenient hostel. Location is really good, metro/train station is just literally out side the hostel. From the station, easy conection to airport. Super store and shops are just around the corner. Royal Palace/gardens are just 10 minutes. Gran via is 15 and temple of debod & plaza de espana is also 10/15 minutes walk. Rooms and Wash rooms were clean. Staff was very helpful. Overall, good hostel with good location.

Good location and good all round hostel. The pods were a good size with good curtains. Only down side was the rooms are quite hot when the curtains are closed. There is a toilet and shower in the room so you don’t need to keep using the communal ones. The location is great, close to Gran Via and a nice strole to El Retiro.

This property was certainly an experience. I personally found the staff to be nice, however on several other measures the property fell short. For one, the bathrooms were not particularly clean, and at many times I found myself having to search for alternative facilities as a result. Second, for the summer time in Spain, my particular dorm was rather hot and not very well air conditioned. Perhaps worst of all were the other guests that I encountered. Three men in particular traveling together had all gotten sick and days later now I am sick. Another guest snored so loud that I couldn’t sleep. I have given hostels many different chances but this is the last time I will be making that mistake.

Perfect location near major attractions and metro connections. Common areas were very small but always clean and staff very friendly. My only problem with the hostel was that because it’s small and my room was near the common area it could be quite noisy with inconsiderate guests making loud noise in the middle of the night (not the fault of the hostel obviously but just something to bear in mind)

overall stellar PERFECT LOCATION that is near Madrid’s perfect public transit system — one of the other guests meowed like a cat repeatedly during the night which was a little weird but more of a reflection of her than the place. Great accommodations and easy to lock stuff up. Cannot recommend more highly!

I would like to express my overall positive experience with the quality of the hostel. However, there are a few aspects that could be improved. The beds are quite short, making it uncomfortable for individuals who are around 180-185 centimeters tall to lie on their backs since their feet will be touching the wall. Additionally, the room temperature was noticeably warm, despite the thermostat indicating 19 degrees Celsius.

First time hostel traveler and it wasn't a bad experience, just a few irritating things.
Staff was really friendly.
Bathroom area could be better; the shower wasn't that great and kind of a hazard since I almost slipped and killed myself on the small mat that was outside the shower and you had to mop up after yourself because water leaked out. Its not a huge deal but it could be better and remember to bring a towel.
Breakfast was alright, nothing special.
Daily cleanings which is nice.
card activated lockers so you can keep your valuables safe.
Walkable to a metro station and pretty close to Gran Via area.
Relatively quiet and people were respectful. I did get a little warm in my bunk when I closed the curtain so maybe bring a small fall with you if you get warm at night.
Also, someone stole my sneakers. Like, they were just Fila sneakers, nothing expensive but it was like, really? And there is an assumption about check out times, not good to assume so I was late and didn't even realize it but the staff but nice enough about it so I could gather my things and get myself checked out. It wasn't on my email, so for future reference, check out is at 11am.
I'd stay again, but will be more careful about my shoes.
