Okay so as far as location in proximity to where we were going for concert was great, and their ability to check us in early was awesome, that’s about where all the good ends. They have zero vending machines in the building, and charge you 2 dollars for a bottle of water at the front desk… their onsite bar is only open 4-12 which totally makes zero sense if their “destination fee” is to be of use to absolutely anyone. hey, we have a market downstairs that you can get to if you go on a trip like the opening credits on Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Oh by the way, you can’t get back to the hotel because the door you went out will lock beyond the posted hours. You have to go out in the rain and walk around the building to get back into the lobby. Don’t expect your room to be of any count either, every fixture in the room was loose including the bathroom and shower faucets (I took video for proof). There was damage to the walls, and damage to the chest of drawers that made the place feel very cheap. Comfort was also lacking unless you like your mattress with the firmness of a stone. They didn’t ask how our stay was upon checkout either. Valet also initially lost our tag and had to call our room to see what it was we drove.

Bad check in, the cards I just used for lunch and gas , was not accepted, my bank told me they need to upgrade the machine for Mastercard, we agreed the could take cash, I went to the atm behind me, here the cards worked, now they said they can’t take cash…. A other customer offered they could use his credit card. When you enter they told me in the bar , that you will have a 25 dollar voucher pr day, they did not give me this before I asked for it.. My friend had access to the membership lounge, a cold decorated room with Appel and banana a small fridge with beverages To have good breakfast I needed to go outside to a breakfast restaurant next to the hotel. I had my car in the hotel valet , when I needed my car it took 25 minutes to get it ….I had much better experience last time at the Virgin hotel in Chicago, enjoyed there rooftop bar, I can recommend that 😉

Hotel nice, beds comfortable, rooms clean and service friendly and prompt. In walking distance to most of the top attractions and restaurants close by. Definitely recommend and would visit here again.

Our first downtown Chicago stay and we had a fabulous time. Clean and spacious room. Loved the decor. Fast and secure elevators. Room service was better than we expected! Very convenient location to Riverwalk and only a 20 minute walk to Chicago 360!

Our reservation was canceled via email right before check in time after we had already traveled to the city. The staff that we spoke to said they canceled it because they were overbooked and they didn’t have to help us find other accommodations, and that they would be offering no solutions. We were treated very rudely. It was a very busy weekend and we were not able to find another place to stay at the last minute.

All the staff are very courteous and helpful. The location is perfectly located in walking distance to all restaurants and sights. I only wish bar hours started a bit earlier. Otherwise one of the most pleasant stays I've had in a major downtown city.

The hotel room was decent. The bathroom floor was outdated, there was hair on the toilet, sink, and floor. The bed was comfortable and looked clean. One of the lamp shades was broke. The customer service at the front desk was nice.

TV is was a wonderful hotel and experience. Our room was spacious, updated and clean. The location felt like it was the center of everything we wanted to do. It has excellent restaurants and activities in the same building and parking lot as well. It will definitely be our hotel of choice any time we are visiting Chicago going forward!
