Our room was on the 3rd floor so had to walk up 3 flights of very steep stairs. Most of the walls were slanted ie banged our heads a few times! If you’re tall don’t stay in room 6.
Food was great, staff very friendly.

Charming, intimate ski/tourism chalet, positioned in a tiny town on the beautiful St Lawrence river. Kind inn-keepers ready to help. It's a great place to stay if skiing Le Massif de Charlevoix (5 minutes away) or looking for a quiet getaway an hour from QC. Enjoy!

What a great spot to stop, dine in and have breakfast before hitting the slopes. The owners are very friendly and even cleaned the snow off my car in the morning! 👍I recommend without hesitation.

Stairs to rooms could have had a railing, everyone was so accommodating and friendly. Meals were wholesome. And if you want quiet and great walks or cycling it us a great place to stay. Very quiet village.

I had a delightful stay at this Auberge for a skiing holiday in March, 2023. The husband and wife proprietors have maintained this property to high standards. I had a small charming suite that had a beautiful view of the St. Lawrence Seaway and the village below. They provide breakfast for the room rate and also provide dinner in a restaurant open to the public for dinner. It was extremely convenient for me to enjoy dinner at the Auberge after a vigorous day of skiing and taking advantage of their outdoor hot tub immediately afterwards. They have close access to the Le Massif ski area's alternate lodge next to the Seaway. For the quality of my stay, the modest rates are extremely reasonable and I will definitely return here if I revisit the area in the future.

Way too noisy despite the place seemingly in good condition. Maybe winter time exacerbated the issue with plow machines starting to work around 6pm... But we were hearing people in the inn until at least 9.30pm also.
It was a comfortable and clean room otherwise.
Side note: a bit disappointed by the restaurant service and quality for the price (hamburger aka small bread meat at 15$) and we were thirsty the whole diner (no available water unless the waiter/ress thought about us).

Owner and staff were so wonderful!
Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant was excellent and so convenient as we skied all day and didn’t have to worry about where to go for dinner.
The room was clean and had the amenities we needed(kettle, coffee pot, microwave and mini fridge.
We booked the hot-tub one of the nights, and it was perfect after a long day of skiing.
There is also a convenient store down the road, and an ice rink around the corner where we went skating!

Wonderful hosts and communication was excellent considering my lack of the local language. Due to covid regulations my stay was quiet and peaceful. Food was very good and always served fast.
