We had a wonderful time with our 2 year old on this family vacation! The Finest resort is so accommodating to families (especially young kids). The Junior Swim Up Suite room was excellent for nap time because the parents could just sit outside in the pool/sun. The staff was extremely kind to us and our child. The food was excellent - we did a date night to the French restaurant and hired an on-site babysitter. Truly a magical vacation that exceeded my expectations. I would recommend this to any young family looking for an elevated, comfortable vacation!

This is our second time at this hotel and whilst it was lovely, the previous time was better. Since 2018 it has definitely moved towards being oriented towards family/groups/weddings and less towards couples. It was really quite busy and there were kids and pushchairs everywhere. We paid extra to be in the adults-only part but that didn't seem worth it as there are only two adults only restaurants and two bars (in one of them we were given plastic glasses for our drinks at 8.30pm which wasn't great!). The staff are lovely and the hotel is spotlessly clean and has lots of fantastic facilities. I was a bit disappointed with check-in this time. Previously we were given a glass of prosecco when we arrived and our suitcases were in the room when we got there, we were also shown around a bit. This time, they didn't seem to know where we should be, the check-in was rushed and we didn't get a drink, and we had to wait in the room for a while before our cases arrived. I was also really disappointed that we specifically booked this for our 20th wedding anniversary and I told the guy this at check-in and he just smiled. Last time when we went for our anniversary we had a little banner on the hotel room door, our bed was decorated, etc. etc. It was still an amazing break, but they just don't seem that interested in making it special for couples and were all about the families. If you are travelling as a couple I would recommend going somewhere else.

The property is situated at the great location. It is a very large property with a long,calm beautiful beach. We can spend all day at the beach. It was awesome. Morning walk along the beach was unforgettable. We were greeted with the a glass of Champagne as soon as we arrived.All the personnel whom we came in contact with were very courteous, polite and gracious.Property is really clean , organized beautifully and well maintained. Food and drinks were also one of the best ( variety and unlimited). Pools were awesome.

Amazing place and amazing staff. A swim up room is a must and made this place magical. The food was the best out of all inclusive locations we have stayed at and they are happy to keep sending more and more until you can’t eat another bite. super fun event every night at the amphitheater including circus, Mexican fiesta and concerts then live music after. The property is so big that we didn’t even see it all and we could have eaten at a different place every night for two weeks but we found our favorites and returned a few times like dukes lobster house where I had 3 different half lobster plates in the same sitting oh lord it was soooooo good. Also, this Asian place called Shoji blew our minds and they have hibachi tables with some skilled chefs that did a great job at entertaining us. Another nice thing is that if we needed anything at all at our room they took care of it at the drop of a hat plus we had a mini bar and fully stocked mini fridge that was replenished every day. Aquaworld company had a hut onsite on the beach if you want to sign up for scuba, boat rides, jet ski or parasailing plus the big island is right in front of the property so it only took us 15 maybe 20 minutes on the boat before we was diving at a beautiful coral reef and that was life changing. Big shout out to a man named Andres in the surf and turf restaurant he has perfected the art of serving and is probably the best I have ever encountered and also Humberto and Sergio many thanks!

The property overall is nice. I give this a 3 stars rating because the hotel’s inability to accommodate on their own mistake. I ordered an ocean view room with 2 queen beds and ended up with 1 king bed and a sofa bed. My children almost cried when they heard that they have to sleep on a sofa bed. Knowing that my children were not comfortable sleeping on a sofa bed my wife and I slept on the sofa bed instead even though I have back pain. I repeatedly asked for room change but had no accommodation for the 4 nights we stayed at the Finest. Also, the waiting for restaurants is a joke, if you are not there a 6 pm to get a seat you’re out of luck. You can wait 1 to 2 hours even the restaurants were not busy. I think because the hotel is under staff. We were there the last week of August, and mosquito were everywhere, if you forgot to bring a repellent they charge $40 a bottle inside the hotel. Will I recommend this hotel to friends or revisit? The answer is no.

No room tour, hospitality was subpar, some of the staff members acted as if it was a bother to ask for some of the services. No room upgrade even though they said they would let us know if there was any, but they never let us know anything. The food was good, Legends was great vibes, the pool area was small and barely ever had chair available for my family, mosquitos were a huge issue. The prices at the gift store were too high. The Punta Cana location was way better.

Exceptional hotel, incredibly good service, food options, safety. It is located in Playa mujeres, Punta Sam, out of the crowdedness of Cancun hotel zone, but still close enough for ocasional visits for shopping or shows. We used Uber. Highly recommended property. Will definitely go back to same.

Property was fine. You aren’t able to make reservations at the restaurants, so sometimes the wait times to get seated for dinner were over an hour. The food was ok. It definitely is a loud resort so if you are looking for peace and quiet it probably should not be your first choice. Customer service was a hit or miss. Sometimes they did a great job and sometimes it was terrible. Rooms are pretty clean for the most part.

Buffet doesn’t have many varieties and the rest of the restaurants were either too salty or tasteless. I would not come back. But service, beach, cleanliness is great.

Food isn’t that great. It’s edible. They start cleaning super early and you can hear them working right outside your door. I was woken up everyday 7am. They were brushing the floor or something. We paid an upgrade for our own pool in our room and the room was nice but the walk to the beach was SUPER far.
