overnight stay after long flight from Phoenix. Friendly staff and propmt check in which was great considering I arrived at 2am. ASirport 24 hr shuttle is a bonus

Just an over night stay as I was catching a flight from Halifax. Average in general as rooms and overall hotel appeared to be dated and needs a revamp. Interior hall wall on first floor had wall covering hanging off . Restaurant/ bar needs some tidying as wires hanging from the ceilings - back storage area door was open and had a unclean appearance. - Food was good.

We needed a hotel close to the airport for an early flight. We were only there for a few hours. It was conveniently located close to the airport. The room was very tired. Corners in bathroom were dirty/damaged. Bathtub stained & big chips in enamel.

Luggage was lost on flight and Delivered to hotel before morning and was secured by staff till I picked up at 7 am, the gal called me by name and remembered exactly our conversation from the previous night even with a large crowd at the hotel! She was spot on!

Found it was difficult to maneuver personal items to room due to set ot 4 or 5 steps up to room from ground floor level.Took elevator and thought we would have regular hallway.

It's a convenient location from the Halifax airport, the restaurant is open late and has great food. The room could do with some upkeep but it was clean, comfortable bed etc. Staff was nice and helpful. I absolutely recommend this place.

Room and staff excellent but bathroom fan doesn’t turn off,coffee maker lid won’t close properly and remote very difficult to press buttons and up button doesn’t work.

I appreciated the airport shuttle. I was confused by the lack of lights in the room (specifically, no light in the half of the bathroom that had the toilet and shower-sorry that I got water all over the floor, but it was because I was showering in the dark) and the series of touch lamps that didn't quite work. The outdoor pool said it was open until September, but I guess that meant the beginning of September? The check-in staff said it was an option, but it remained locked the whole time. They also refused to do a wakeup call, and that's the best part of staying at a hotel for me. I suppose the alarm clock was fine. I felt it was a bit disingenuous to say that there is breakfast included, and then immediately text after you book to put the limits of the hours. But overall, it was a fine, The Shining-adjacent place to crash-the bed was comfy and it was neat to make a waffle at breakfast, even though eating on paper plates with plastic utensils is kind of depressing. I feel like it was a bit too expensive for what it was, but I was late to book and the Maritimes need help with their economy any way they can get it. The painting in the lobby is absolutely unhinged in a fascinating way-I'm still thinking about it. The woman who worked in the restaurant the night I arrived was the friendliest and most interested person working at the hotel-gold star to her.

Good price for our layover. Comfortable bed, restaurant food was very good, staff helpful! This is an older hotel which needs some upgrades. Doors to the rooms very heavy & squeal terribly! Need some WD40 on them. There is a race track behind the hotel which is loud until 10:30 pm. This was a Friday night, don’t know about other nights. Deck off the restaurant very nice to enjoy also!
