This place was amazing. It was clean, comfortable, all the people that worked there were friendly. The lady that worked at breakfast was so helpful and friendly. She kept everything clean and filled. The clerk that checked us in so helpful.

This review is based on the visit during the tragic events of Hurricane Helene. I can not compliment the staff enough on their professionalism and caring nature. GM Rufus and his talented and dedicated team did a spectacular job keeping us accommodated and comfortable all with the fact that there was no electricity and water. Amazing and caring staff from top to bottom. Great people. They consistently checked on us and asked if we needed anything and went to the major extreme to do as much as humanly possible. I was shocked to see everyone not only show up for work at all, but to be dedicated to their job all while they were suffering personally. The building is immaculate, the breakfast was larger with more variety than most, and that’s including during the crisis. If I could give 10 stars I would. Next visit to Asheville, I know where I’m staying. Bless you all and you are in our prayers.

All was great. Only one suggestion, the room need a new chair! It was the only drawback of the room. It is very worn, old and a bit dirty. Otherwise it is a really clean, good breakfast, easy, walkable area. I would stay again.

When I did a pre-checkin I was offered an upgrade to a room with a jetted tub for an additional $30/night, and I accepted it. If the jetted tub had been more usable the upgrade might have been worth it. But the tub filled extremely slowly, taking 15 minutes for the water to cover the jets, and only 4 of the 7 jets actually worked.

Interactions with front desk was mixed: initially not at all welcoming or helpful from the first person who checked us in. But when I returned to the lobby ten minutes later and dealt with a second staff member, the opposite was true. Hot tub was a real plus for us, and location was good. We would return when in the area.

This was by far the most comfortable place we have stayed for a long time. The service was great and everyone was very friendly. Check-in was smooth and easy. Breakfast was AMAZING! They had all the things including a pancake maker and waffles. A young lady was in there to help and kept everything clean and ready to use. We will definitely stay here again.

Didn't sleep at all lots of nosies in the hall headboards banging. Then fire alarm going off at 0700am but i was already awake. It was a false alarm but the person didn't know how to turn it off.
