Clean hotel and prompt check in

Hotel was clean, quiet and inexpensive. I've been travelling most of my adult life and there were three things that I wanted to comment on. First is a safety concern that someone should look into and correct. Located the room smoke detector in the bottom of a dresser drawer, where it would have done absolutely no good in case of a fire. The local Fire Marshall should be notified. These two things I found "odd". 1. Coffee maker in the room, but no coffee. Went to the desk and was told they didn't have any coffee packets and that coffee was available in the lobby during breakfast. Why have a coffee maker in the room?? 2. No telephone in the room. Now granted most people carry a cell phone, but I can't recall the last time I stayed in a hotel that didn't have a room phone.

The room was dirty

Lot's of little maintenance not done, such as no lid on toilet tank, smoke detector not on ceiling, but on work table, etc. HOWEVER, it had great lighting, not like so many places anymore that only have lamps for lighting. It was clean, it was not noisy, it didn't smell, and the price was right. I'd stay here again.

It was a run down hotel that folks live in. Will not go again.

The staff was AMAZING. The breakfast could have been better. Everything else was unfortunately very poor.

The pool hot rub and gym were under maintenance but staff said nothing about it. Staff barely spoke to us at check in. Breakfast was not good.i qould not stay there again.

Room was basic but small. Furniture worn but serviceable. Dirty towels but reception gladly replaced. No toilet seat cover so risking things falling in. No tags for do not disturb and when i asked for one reception stated they would make a note. I wrote do not disturb on a piece of paper and affixed to door. Area was quiet and felt safe for solo female traveler.

I checked in and the key card wouldn’t work, than I needed a new key for a different room. The 2nd night my toilet wouldn’t flush. I was fed up so I left and checked out a day early. Oh well.

Pool out of service, lots of local traffic and not the good kind. Floors are grody and sticky. Bathtub was filthy. Beds not comfortable. Had to turn on the tv at 1am because the local crack heads were having inapriate conversations and even heard them torching up. Breakfast time there was no milk or juice just stuff to make wafffles. They need to advertise this for what it is. A run down after the bar drug den.

The one plus on this stay was the bed was comfortable with clean, white sheets. The hotel description stated there was a pool and hot tub. Neither are working and haven't been for quite while. The checkout time says noon and was told it was 11:00 a.m. The continental breakfast did not include any kind of drink besides coffee whether it be juice, water, or milk. There was however drinks available for purchase at $3.50 each. There was no cereal, no yogurt, no fruit. Only several pastries and a waffle maker. No soap in the bathroom. Irritated the amenities advertised are not what you get. Several men hanging around outside the front doors in the evening smoking which was weird. I'll be maki.g phone calls to fact check next time!

Staff was friendly. Had to ask front desk for TV remote. There was a pair of socks in the drawer. Other than that, it was comfortable and quiet.

Room was clean and beds nice there were alot of other guests who were far to friendly to a woman traveling alone, I wouldn't recommend staying here alone if your a woman was followed to my room more than once. Overall the hotel was nice, clean and comfortable, would have been better if the exterior building locks worked.

Front desk staff are amazing!

Arrived and there wasnt a pool they said hasnt been one in years. Black mold in the ac unit, my whole family was coughing all night, at 12am there was dogs running around in the hallway barking and fighting at 2am there was people fighting and arguing in the hall way woke my family up. No towels or complementary tolitries, had to go back down front desk, room its self wasnt clean, tv screen was broke. Vending machine eats your money, and the breakfast was a joke.

The breakfast consisted of waffles,cereal or muffins no hot food, no juice choice, no telephone in our room, the smoke detecor was hanging from the ceiling and the bed frame is metal it moves with every move

Advertisement said there was a pool which was one reason we picked this hotel. No pool. Room was not clean. No phones in the rooms? Safety hazard! No soap and not enough towels for even 2 people let alone 5. I paid 3x their normal price due to the Renaissance faire going on and told them up front I had 5 guests. Website states sleeps 5. No extra pillow or place to sleep. Pics on site show a pillow and window seat. Pics are nothing at all what the rooms look like. Horrible experience. I asked for a refund or part of my money back, was told they removed phones due to drug dealers and that the website just needed to be updated. No refund.

The floor in my room was sticky, as well as the door handle and sink handles. The shower diverter valve was messed up and more water came out of the spout than the shower head. Lots of people roaming the halls and the front of the property late at night well after 10pm

The receptionist was very nice. The staff was very polite.

You get what you pay for. A cheap room is just that. There is no pool, the room was clean but there was hair in the shower.

There were items and garbage left in the drawers, room floor was oily or greasy. Hot breakfast options was only oatmeal and waffles, would’ve liked sausage and eggs if possible.

Staff was considerate in allowing me to check in early to get ready for a wedding

The staff was so friendly and so welcoming to us greeted us so quickly and had us in our room in 5minutes . I would recommend it to anyone

The room was fine. I'm not sure if the microwave oven was working properly as I had purchase a meal to warm in it and it didn't properly warm it. In the morning I went down for breakfast and it was basically nonexistent. There was coffee, I don't drink coffee. No juice of any kind. There was a waffle maker. I chose to have a bagel, it was obviously not fresh, and there was no cream cheese to put on it. When I asked the staff about it, she indicated that they didn't have any at this time. An hour later, at 9:00, when I went to check out, she was opening a box of cream cheese. I have never seen such a poor breakfast offered at any hotel I've ever stayed at before. Very disappointing.

Rooms weren't very clean, entrance to property unkempt.

I would never book this hotel again. The room was disgusting. They didn’t have a blanket for my daughters on the pull out bed. The pool was closed but never told that prior to booking. Overpriced.

Pool is down, looks like its been down for a while. The room didnt have toilet paper and only had one bath towel for a 2 bed room. It said the room fit 5 people it barely fit 4 people. The room had chuncks missing out of furniture, walls, a little kid made art all over the bathroom, the smoke detector was missing batteries, the furniture was all broken to some extent, they say u can get a extra bed online but the staff said they dont have any extra beds. Oh my lord dont even get me started on the stains in the room or the black mold in the bathroom. The breakfast consisted of oatmeal, waffles, or cheerios. We had a lot of foor allergies so the breakfast didnt work for us.

The property looks cute enough, but was almost $200/night for us and our 2 kids which was way overpriced. There were almost no amenities to speak of and no closet space or anywhere for us to put our stuff. Everything smelled musty, especially the bathroom. We kept the fan going the whole time to try and keep the moisture and smell down. The staff, although nice, were generally not helpful. The ‘pool’ is a whirlpool and was closed anyway because it was full of mattresses. The continental breakfast included breads and coffee and that was pretty much it. Our room was next to the lobby bathroom which constantly reeked of weed and the hand dryers were going off all through the night. If this was a cheaper room, I wouldn’t be surprised, but this place was almost $900 for 3 nights after booking fees and just not worth it. I will not book with this chain again if I can help it.

The couches were broken and dirty. Our feet stuck to the floor. The bathrooms were filthy.

It was a little below average. The room was definitely not worth what we paid and although the other surfaces were relatively clean, the floors were not. This room definitely should not have been $119/night. Honestly, I’ve stayed at a Motel 6 right by an expressway and the rooms there were cleaner and in better repair. The place just looks run down. The front desk staff informed me that there is work being done in the room. If that’s really the case, why is the room available? Seems like it would make more sense to put the room on maintenance, finish it, adequately clean it, and then make it available. There was no smoke detector in the room which is a safety hazard. The two side tables by the bed were in very rough shape. The flushing mechanism on the toilet is very stiff and super loud. Mattress was pretty uncomfortable. Luckily, we only had to stay one night. There seems to be a “dorm room” standard of cleanliness. I understand now why the place has such a low rating.
