The hotel can ‘host’ over 400 guests.
It has 26 poolside sun loungers, most of them broken.
It has 100 sun loungers on the beach.
If you’ve managed to get any sleep on your wooden mattress, you have to set your alarm and join the queues at 7.50 every morning to get a beach sun lounger (tickets dispensed at 8.30) or a pool spot (opens at 9).
This is not a way to start a holiday.
You can’t even make a tea or coffee in your room to take with you into the queue unless you bring/buy your own kettle, milk, tea
/coffee and mugs.
Feel like complaining? The staff response is very mixed. Some people actually trying to help, others look at you like you’re the problem. My wife was pregnant during our trip so after not sleeping for a night or two I asked for a refund which seemed to put the manager out.
Wouldn’t recommend the food for a pregnant, gluten-free person but for me it was okay. The restaurant area is cramped and loud with bright lights - no ambience at all.
This hotel is at best, a tired 3 star hotel. At worst, it’s a daily 30-40minute queue for a sun lounger on a crowded beach where you can’t get your all inclusive drinks, or a longer queue for a broken sun lounger where you can.
In the spirit of leaving a balanced review, the shower was good.
We left the hotel with 2 nights left in the booking having been offered a refund by Expedia, which they have since reneged on.

When we arrived the staff were lovely, they provided all the relevant information needed. We arrived to our room and we had some door problems however they solved the problem and moved us to another room and assisted us as much as they can. The staff in each department are friendly and the hotel is clean.

It was a lovely 4-star hotel, staff were welcoming and the communal areas, reception, bar etc were great. Clean rooms with working air con, comfy bed and balcony. We had a sea view (over/around the other hotels) and it is a 3 minute walk to the beach with free sun loungers for the hotel (get in early). Nice area to walk around, felt safe, and a well-kept promenade for evening strolls.
The all inclusive had a variety of food each day alongside the usual salad and chips and varying drinks (just check what is included).
It was a really nice place to spend our honeymoon, unfortunately we had to leave early due to a family emergency, which staff were very understanding about, so didn't get to try all the entertainment, spa facilities and see the sights. We will be back soon I hope.

I travelled through Spain snd France staying at various types of accomodation during September 23. This place was the worst by a long way. The advert was nothing like the place I stayed in. I could go on for hours about how poor this place was and how dissapointing the staff and facilities were but for the first time ever I will be writing an official letter of complaint to the CEO to demand a partial refund.

Fantastic hotel just arrived back home after booking 4 nights only last week.
Staff are amazing and the all inclusive food and drinks
We booked a superior room which was a nice layout and a very light and bright room
Only negative was not being able to get a sun lounger as people where reserving them with there towels at 8.30 in the morning. Other than that we enjoyed sitting outside with our drinks

All was splendid, we loved the superior room. The only downside was that I was told in the evening the late check out is available, I called later in the evening (22/23) to book it and the night shift receptionist told me in an unusual manner he doesn’t have access to the system he needs (?) and in the morning it was no longer available. Still, we’ll definitely be back.

The food quality and variety was great. Waiters and waitresses did an impeccable job.
The front desk, however, was rather unfriendly or untrained in customer service.

Good parts:
Staff was very friendly and professional, all interactions with them have been positive
Location is quite good as you are just a few minutes from a really nice beach
1 hour of free SPA is nice, sauna was great although jacuzzi was completely cold and personally I dont see the appeal of sitting in cold water.
Drinks - cocktails are good, if you have all inclusive they will literally give you a bottle of wine with every meal
Bad parts:
The food is of low quality ingredients and just not good. Nothing is refrigerated either which doesnt seem very safe or appetizing. If you like stale bread and room temperature yogurts for breakfast, go ahead. Seriously though, food is not good and you should have better on your vacation. For me the biggest deal breaker.
Hotel is run down and old, dont fall for the nice photos of some rooms. It is just a new wallpaper and a lamp, the rest is old, not maintained well, moldy, smelly, you name it. Towels and bathrobes also old and rough. Level of cleanliness should be higher.
Covid safety - alcohol gel dispensers by entrance and elevators have been empty for days, during a massive covid outbreak in Catalonia. Irresponsible and lazy.
Balcony - the rail leaves a massive gap on the bottom which not only feels unsafe but seems like a tragedy waiting to happen

Food in the buffet was high quality but not hot. The butter was horrible. Too much fish and very little choice of vegetables.
Fresh rolls were brick hard and toaster was very slow.
No boiling water for tea.
Had to purchase water with evening meal.
Single room was great with a lage double bed and a fridge. Only news channels in English on TV but free wifi was excellent.
Great location, handy for everything.

The hotel was spotless and constantly being cleaned. The food was excellent and a lot of fresh produce. The staff were very obliging, whether it was reception, bar or cleaning staff. We only stayed for the weekend. Next time we would like to stay at least a week. The beach is a 5 minute walk and the train station is about 15 minutes

We had a room with a view on one of the main Streets of Calella. because windows are quite old, all the noise of garbage trucks and drunk tourist are omnipresent until 2 in the morning. Walls are thin ; you could hear your neighbours take a shower or a dump ... We tried to solve it with earplugs. quality of the rooms is poor : old, boring and no luxury which could be expected for THIS price. (150€ per night !). Breakfast was average. Service was good ; these people at least try to make a difference. As an athlete, i really needed the sleep i lacked.

Walls thin so if your neighbors are noisy it’s tough to sleep. Friendly staff and lots of options with breakfast. Good location to restaurants.
