Clean and tidy. Staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. Bed comfy, room dark. Outside was pretty quiet too. Can't fault the hotel at all.

The hotel is very convenient from the M1 but is very basic the food is not good at all and is frozen and then served. There was no soft drinks on tap we paid for breakfast and was told it is served from 6am when we came down for breakfast we was told it is only from 8am so we left as we was not going to wait 2 hours for food still no response from the hotel to offer a refund

A pleasant one night stay

Despite ongoing construction work outside of building, Hotel was quite smooth, welcoming, available parking places and nice staff.

Was really surprised by how clean and comfortable this ibis was would definitely stay again

Booked here to be near a family gathering, little bit concerned with reviews and it being on an industrial estate with noise etc . On arrival Emma on reception was very welcoming and was throughout our stay nothing was a problem for her and rest of staff.
We were very pleased with the room, it was clean tidy and spacious enough for our 3 nights stay, the hotel was quiet and we didn’t hear any noise. We didn’t use a lot of the facilities as we were out the hotel each day visiting family and local attractions.
This is a budget hotel and was better than we expected.
Would we stay again? Yes definitely. Many thanks to all staff

Clean room but all a bit tired, wedged between the M1 and a logistics park. Limited dining options

Great value for money. A bit remote - no restaurants/shops nearby. Comfortable bed and good size room. Friendly staff. Unfortunately the taps in the bar were not working - only bottled stuff available. Breakfast good although not all options (mushrooms, eggs) available at time of selection. Only 1 two slice domestic toaster available for 30 odd guests! Evening food very good value.

I was impressed there was air conditioning as it made all of the difference on a balmy summers' evening.
Wasn't so taken with the decor and it reminded me of a budget bachelor pad but it was clean and tidy.
Pillows felt like they were full of air and we only had two towels.
What struck me as really strange was the hand-soap holder was so high up on the bathroom wall above the sink that my seven year old couldn't reach so he had to wash his hands with shower gel.
We got one half of a toilet roll for the whole stay (had to plod down to reception when it tan out!) and two pouches of coffee and two sugars which amounted to one single drink for myself.
I would expect a good half-a-dozens' worth in a hotel like this.
The door locking system is troublesome and when we returned from breakfast we were locked out of our room for 20 mins as the card system failed.
Four attempts later by different staff with different cards and the door was unlocked.
Ok as a base-only, but wouldn't recommend as much more.

It was very enjoyable, staff were all excellent but General Manager, Ms Sacha, I think went over and beyond expectations. Excellent Thank you.
Only negative water pressure in my 3rd floor room was awful both while having a shower and also from sink! A shame as all else was excellent

Awful. Avoid. The walls are thin. Could hear next doors tv and man coughing in room opposite. The food in the evening was inedible but really expensive. Waiting staff were rude. Breakfast was complete chaos. Have stayed in Ibis before but this hotel is really bad.

We had very little if any sleep due to the bloody dogs barking in the room opposite us.

Very welcomed on arrival but unfortunately a very noisy man in the room next to us who apparently worked nights. Came in 5.30am telly blaring woke most of the rooms nearby. I kindly asked him to turn it down was sworn at and door slammed in face. Went down and reported and nothing done. If hotel knew he was nights but him elsewhere away from other rooms and children. Breakfast was average and not stocked up had to keep asking for this and that. May as well of worked there myself

We could not find anything that did not come up to or above standard. The cleanliness of the room was perfect, staff went out of their way, breakfast hot, delicious, plentiful and great choices. Beautiful homemade soup for supper. Bed comfy, shower and bathroom facilities could not be better. Parking easy and plenty of room. We shall definitely return in future. Thank you.

The toilet seat in my room was broken at the hinges. Although I was transferred to another room since no one was available to repair the broken seat, and a member of staff helped me with moving my already unpacked luggage, it was irritating and inconvenient to have to move and the fact that the broken seat had been allowed to remain in place suggests that the standard of housekeeping is poor. Surely the cleaners should have reported it if they were doing their job properly.
Also, although I went down for breakfast about 30 minutes before the end of the 'window', several of the items on the hot plate looked rather unappetising and must have been sitting there for some time.
If this Ibis hotel had been in France, I somehow doubt that the breakfast would have been so average.

We booked a family room but were allocated a double room. The staff did correct this and give us a drinks voucher which was nice but the rooms smelt stale and were very stuffy.

Decent sized room with comfortable bed. Shower ok, no bath. Air conditioning very noisy. Overall the room was OK, although not worth the price charged.
Food is poor, small portions, not well prepared, much of it lacking in flavour. Restaurant/bar area has no atmosphere. Nothing local as an option to walk to as this is on an industrial estate, but good location close to M1 and A5.

Only looked at two things when booking - did it have a restaurant and air con. A yes to both according to the listing. Arrived at 8.30 to learn the restaurant had closed.
Had a few pints in the bar and asked for match of the day to be put on tv (we were the only ones there) only to be told that the licensing didn’t allow bbc to be shown!
Returned to room only to find the air con didn’t work.
Staff friendly enough and tried to be helpful but disappointing stay overall.

This is our 2nd visit and it’s more than satisfactory. The rooms are of a good size and clean, the bed is comfortable and it was quiet. What more do you need?

Lovely staff, ridiculously hot but they can’t control the weather and gave me a couple of fans! I expected a more basic, budget type room for the price but was pleasantly surprised at the room size and facilities.
Great car parking and Wi-Fi as my O2 signal was rubbish there.

Couldn’t say anything bad about the room, bed was really comfortable and the place was clean. Felt sorry for the staff as there isn’t seem to but much of them for a busy Saturday night, looked like the head chef was cooking, taking orders, serving on the bar, waiting and collecting plates and glasses. There was a leak outside our room that we informed someone about but thinking got done whilst we was there, it didn’t affect our stay so we wasn’t too bothered. We didn’t eat but the atmosphere in the bar was nice. Easy to get too, nothing around the hotel unless you walk 20 mins or drive 5 min. Would stay at again.

Seconds from M1 junction 18 but very quiet. Great stop off when travelling big distances.

Very convenient to road links. A comfortable and clean modern room. Spartan dining room but good well priced food with good service. Will use again on our travels.

Stayed on a Saturday night. Covid restrictions were reassuringly adhered to.
Despite the location and exterior, it was extremely clean and modern.
Special mention to the man on reception/bar who was exceptional- made us feel welcome and made time for a chat even when it was busy.
Would recommend
