Check-in was “fine.” Cleanliness was not great. Stained linens. Stained floors. Stained furniture. Lots of fruit flies. Was a very rough looking hotel.

This property should not be listed on hotels. Com. It was filthy and we didn’t feel safe. Most of the property is rented to permanent residents with their broken down, tireless cars patched outside. There were bugs all over the room, on the walls and floor!!!!!

I love staying at Motel 6. You meet such interesting and colorful people. The bedspread was flimsy and not the cleanest. And I had no hot water in the shower. But next time I will bring an extra blanket. The staff were friendly. And I felt quite safe. And it was very quiet.

Booked a family vacation to see the corn palace and other attractions in Mitchell. This hotel showed fantastic photos of the pool, rooms, and a nice coffee bar and seating. Zero of these things were true. Everything was grungy. Our bathroom had mold on the walls, ceiling, and shower curtains. I’m allergic to mold so I had a terrible night sleep. The pool was not open, and didn’t look as though it had been open for several years. The “dining area” was completely missing.
The photos posted on Expedia are probably a decade old, when the hotel was actually maintained.

Toilet sink and shower were cleaned. Bedding seemed clean. There were some areas with stains and splatter on walls ceiling and doorways. We booked room for 3 people and only enough towels for 2 but people were friendly when we asked for 3rd set. It was listed they have outdoor pool but it was empty. We didnt care as we weren't using it anyway but some might have been disappointed. A/C worked great. Basic room but that is what we wanted. It did have microwave but we didn't use it. Not horrible but wish it was a little cleaner.

they don’t speak English at least the guys in the lobby don’t. Then when we got to our room there was electrical wires exposed and the lights didn’t work. The pool was empty. The water hydrants and fire hydrants were locked up and signs saying out of service. We asked for non smoking and got put in a room with smoking. They couldn’t/wouldn’t switch our room. Then at 5 am we woke up to the cops banging on the next door. The room was not cleaned. Blood on mirror and there was “HELP” scratched into the tv. The towels were dirty. Asked the front desk if we could at least get working lights and was told no so i asked for a discount or something because the room was not cleaned and no lights and he said no asked for a phone number to call and was told no. If the place seemed a little after I would have stayed in my vehicle but the place didn’t feel very safe

No coffee much less any breakfast. Stains on bedspread from dog paws and wash clothes were washed, but stained also. Steps to upstairs need paint and pool is inoperable. A/C unit was plugged with dirt and debris. Not up to Motel 6 standards.

It appeared that several people were living in the hotel permanently as there were tomatoes in the window, and they acted like they own the place. There was a kid sitting in the parking lot in a Honda Civic playing music so loud I could hear it inside my room and he sat there for several hours. He wasn’t even a customer. Motel six should revoke their franchise from this place.
