It’s an ibis. It offers a bed, a tv and a shower/toilet pod.
How they can justify over £100 with no parking or comfort I have no idea.
It’s ok - luckily just one night.
Overall impression? ‘Meh’

Was cheaper than ibis budget for some reason, can see why. Beds uncomfortable and shower room dirty. Loud traffic outside - even with window closed - not the hotels fault but still an annoyance

I checked in here for an event at First Direct Arena. A normal paced walk with a wheeled hand luggage took me about 23mins from the train station. Check-in was OK - I got in at 12.30 but there were no rooms available so had to wait till 3pm although I managed to checkin at 2.30pm. My luggage was held in storage and given a tag whilst I waited for the check-in. The lady who helped was kind, professional and firm.
The hotel is about 25mins walk to the First Direct - mostly flat but a few slightly steeper gradients.
The bed was reasonably comfortable.
My only main concerns were the cost of water and smell from the sink and bath drains was so bad!!! and nothing could be done about it. This was room 711. The hotel doesn't provide a fridge or water in the room. A 350ml of water costs £3 at the reception so suggest you take water along as there are no shops except 10min away
On friday 19th in the evening about 11pm, a guest was speaking to a male receptionist. The receptionist was brash with the guest under the guise that they were others waiting in queue to be served and the guest was wasting time. But there were two receptionists with only 2 other people in the queue so that shouldn't have been an issue.

The overall stay was nice and pleasant, although it was definitely not worth the £92 price tag attached to the room. The shower overflowed onto the bathroom floor, the room got unbearably hot during the night and the “AC” the room has isn’t sufficient enough to cool the room down. The room was quite out dated, the mattress on the bed was quite hard even with the topper on but the pillows were very comfortable. The tv was quite small and the internet wasn’t the best. There was rust present in the bathroom above the door which should probably be looked at. Overall the stay was fine and the staff were very nice and pleasant but isn’t somewhere I would rush back to in a hurry.
