Facility is getting tired. Broken ice machine and Rusty appliances Staff are awesome

So Tried to book the cheapest rate and they told me there were no more available. So i booked the next level up. The room was sharing a wall with the elevator shaft. All night I heard the elevator going up and down. Why even have a room in that area? So I basically paid extra to be kept up all night !!!!!!!

We have always enjoyed IHG brand hotels. This property was a disappointment. The entrance way nice but there was a very bad musty smell. They did have signs posted they were renovated so we have them a little slack. But once we got in our room. It was the worst stay I have ever had, ceiling was stained brown wall paper was coming off the wall in the bathroom. There was mold and rust on all the hardware in the bathroom. When we checked out the next day the lady at the front desk asked why were we on the 4th floor and made the comment that no one was supposed to be booked there. Then after we left my husband got a notification from his credit card. We checked and they had over billed us on the pet fee. I called them they took our number and said they would correct it and call us back. 3 days later and we haven't heard from them. The property needs not only remodeling but maybe some extra staff training.

They put us in room 227, I unpacked our things and went to turn on the TV, which had no signal, the desk clerk suggested some things to make it work, which didn’t work, she then told me we would have to move to another room, they don’t have any maintenance people to help us. I was aggravated because I had already unpacked all of our stuff. She said the other room is on the same floor, that we had to come down and get the key. The next room was #210, the first thing we did was turn the TV on, this TV wasn’t working properly either, I called the clerk again and she said she would send “Barb” up to look at it. Thankfully Barb got it working, she said she had to reload it, this may have been because they had roofers working on the roof and may have discontinued it. Why couldn’t she have sent Barb up to the first room to prevent us from having to move. This was very aggravating and we would like some compensation for this aggravation and inconvenience.

Sheets in first room had not been changed and were dirty. We were moved to another room and, while the sheets appeared to be clean, the room was very dated and the carpet and walls were stained. The toilet in the bathroom appeared to have been push over and was not flush with the wall.

The room was not comfortable and there was a lot of moisture in the air.

This Santee SC Hilton is very nice. Modern and clean. It also has a nice little restaurant.

My only complaint, the blow dryer did not work in the bathroom. Other than that, the hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff was wonderful.

The kitchen clears at 930 am. Posted ll over the hotel says 6-10. At 930 am it was all cleaned with lights out. The manager was very sharp telling me breakfast ended. Didn’t even look me in the face. One employee was nice enough to double check. I received my bkrst credit and used it towards pet fee. Lastly, shower was full of mildew. In the glass doors and all over the corking
