We payed a small fortune to stay 2 days in this hotel in November.
The check in is at 4pm and the check out is at 11am. There were no breakfast included.
There is a 35$ fee per day for valet parking. Otherwise you have to self-park in a place very far away from your room. For me it was like 10 minutes walking.
The structure of the resort is huge. But the only difference for us in that matter was that we had to walk like half a mile to arrive at our room, because everything was closed during the off season.
We were aware that it was off season. But still there was absolutely nothing to do in the hotel. No activities whatsoever were offered by the resort included in the almost 400 dollar price you pay per night.
It was my birthday during our stay. I told the attendant the moment we checked in hoping to get something special but nothing was arranged.
There is a 45$ dollar fee per day for the amenities and activities supposedly offered by the hotel.
When checking out we told the attendant we thought we shouldn’t pay this fee while we weren’t able to enjoy the resort facilities at all. She told us this fee was charged for the the availability of the pool, the gym and for complimentary coffee, among other things that were out of order.
So we still had to pay this extra 95$ with taxes for absolutely nothing.
It was probably the most frustrating situation I ever passed regarding a hotel. Especially considering the very expensive price we payed.

The hotel was nice, but there were so many hidden fees, like a resort fee when the majority of the amenities were closed during our time there and utilizing vallet parking was pretty much made mandatory (it was a flat fee for vallet or an hourly fee to park yourself at the hotel which was ridiculous). The vallet parking workers were very kind but it was a very slow process to get your car if you needed to leave the hotel and it ended up adding up with tips and the flat daily fee.

This is a beautiful property and has nicely appointed rooms. The surrounding scenery was gorgeous. It would be nice however, if there were not two additional fees added to the room - the parking and resort fees. The hotel is expensive and one or both of these fees should be included in the nightly rate.
Also, when checking in the guys in the valet area do not allow guests to take the valet cart to the room. We were told it is hotel policy to have staff push the cart. This is a hotel policy that should be changed.

Every year for the past 5 years, prices have increased, fees have been added, and services have decreased. Beautiful resort, but will not return.

Amazing ski resort. Plenty of hiking trails within a short driving distance. Friendly and attentive staff. Valet parking. Great restaurant on premises. Heated pool and hot tub. Room and views are breath taking.

Views were great!
Design of hotel is disjointed. We had to walk a long way just to get to an elevator for our room on 3rd floor. Standard room was small and there was a piece of furniture that constricted the space between the entry and the actual bedroom. Room design does not compare favorably with Marriott VALUE brad hotels ( TownPlace, Fairfield, SpringHill) and are certainly more expensive. We are Bonvoy members but are open to other brands, Hyatt among them. This visit, while pleasant due to your staff, who were consistently attentive and helpful, will not encourage us to try Hyatt again. This is disappointing because, as Vermonters, your facility at Vermont’s premier ski resort, should reflect that level of excellence. Staff is great, hotel not so much.

A beautiful resort with very friendly and helpful staff-and one doesn’t pay much attention to the parking valet service but these guys were terrific!

The property is very well maintained and clean and the staff is cordial and attentive. Lots of things to do inside the resort! Main downside is the noise coming from other rooms, we could easily hear the tv from behind the wall. Also, there is not a general store inside the property in case you forget something.

My husband and I stayed at Spruce Peak for what we thought was going to be a relaxing baby moon. Our room was not ready to be checked in to until after the 4 p.m. check in time. When we finally got into the room we opened the door to find it had two queen beds when we booked a king. We were finally placed in a king room over what we believe was the parking garage. We were woken up several mornings by loud banging and other types of construction noises. This was around 7 a.m.
We were not once asked how our stay was by any employee.
Overall, the hotel is beautiful but the relaxing part for us was definitely missing, a disappointment for sure.

Room and hotel staff were good, proximity to noisy road and construction were not relaxing. Surprised by the lack of free parking, either valet for $35 a day or pay $48/24hrs in the Stowe lot. Hotel is classified at pet friendly, but they charge $100/night for a fee. I'm pretty sure our dogs make less of a mess than most children or adults do. Didn't recall seeing those fees listed when booking. They did divulge the infamous "Resort Fee" at booking, still a pet peeve.

Facility was spotless and everyone was friendly but everything on the resort is very expensive and, seeing as we stayed M-Th a lot of benefits to being on the resort were closed which was a bummer.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. A wedding took over several areas which was a bummer. Never got a chance to enjoy the whistle pig pavilion. Car was brought back to us filthy so may want to ask where they plan to park your car overnight.
