Staff were lovely, friendly. Good size car park. Lovely views from restaurant during breakfast. Small bar with good choice
Room was a good size, decor not the most modern.
We booked a double room - bed was 2 twin beds together, but no topper so not the most comfortable due to the gap in the 2 mattresses
Both chairs in the room were heavily stained

Passage house apartments is always a comfortable stay. Though the rooms may be dated , I have never had any issues with comfort or things not working.
WiFi very reliable. Staff always pleasant. And I can walk to the pub in 5 mins!

Hotel was in an ideal location for us to attend a wedding nearby. In a very nice setting with plenty of parking. Room was comfortable and clean although in common with the rest of the hotel it was a little dated. WiFi was good. Breakfast was reasonable for the money although the extra £5 charge for different dishes such as eggs Benedict wasn’t really needed as the dish is probably no more costly than the full English we did have. We found the mushrooms to have a strange taste to them and the sausage wasn’t nice, we suspect it was quite a cheap mass catering product. Service at breakfast was very good and fast.

Great hotel, could do with a lick of paint in a few places, but other than that I can’t fault it. Comfy bed, clean room, and beautiful views.

Visiting family nearby so convenient. The rooms , having stayed once before, are a bit tired and need some love and attention. With the Passage Inn by the river edge just a few metres away and the sun shining it can be quite pleasant. Staff in hotel and Inn are friendly and helpful.

Wonderful situation and lovely views. Staff competant, and polite, and food good, but a slightly run down feel to the place. Needs refurbishment in some areas. Bedroom not very nice with stained carpet and old fashioned bathroom.

Very nice hotel..nice room..however..we could not eat in the evening of our 2nd night because of coach partys..we were not told that at certain times they could not feed us..luckily we walked down to the riverside pub where they were more accomodating..otherwise we would have gone to bed hungry...not sure if its right that residents are treated secondary to coach partys but nevertheless..apart from that it was a nice stay at a reasonable room rate.

We had a great stay, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The self-catering apartment we stayed in was convenient and comfortable for us. We spent a lot of time at the pool and loved the views from our balcony. While the lodge we stayed in could use a bit of an update, overall, we were very satisfied with our experience.

The hotel is in need of some investment. The rooms feel tired. Ok for a one night stay.

Great spot next to the river.
Beautiful when having breakfast weather permitting.
Outside areas unkept and rooms a little tired.

Apartment had everything you needed was very comfortable and clean.
Only thing we were disappointed with was the pool area, it’s dated and could do with being decorated, water was cold not very inviting ambience.

Unfortunately me and my family were surprised with the condition of accommodation, it is very dated, new paint and carpets are needed, beds were too soft we couldn't sleep properly. During the breakfast tables were sticky and also we heard one lady complaining about dirty coffee cups....area is nice, but hotel really need upgrading,it is not worth what we paid..

I'd highly recommend this hotel. It's by the estuary, which is beautiful. Food is just around the corner and there's plenty of parking. There are lots of great places within a few miles, so it's a great base for a holiday.
The holiday is a little dated, but the staff were super helpful and sorted out any issues really quickly. The room was a great size. The pool isn't big but the kids loved it.

Noisy hotel! Uncomfortable beds. No ventilation, window only opens a crack. Felt like I was in an oven. Ground floor, car park next to window so heard all the cars coming and going. Zero peace and quiet. Large coach tours also staying here so breakfast was a nightmare.
