Now this a real Riad. Its a century old building renovated for western standards of comfort. If you need anything, just talk to the manager, Yassine. He knows the city, has experience in many trades and is always delighted to help !

Staff in the Riad are great they provided us with great place to see and good tips.
The riad itself is a bit dated the toilet was not screwed to the floor for example and it was pretty hard shut the water off.
The breakfast were great and the morning tips on what we could do was a great help

This was our first time to Morocco so we wanted to experience staying in the Medina.
Riad Dar Tiflet is a short walk to Jenna el-Fna which is convenient. It is also a short distance from Hotel Ali where you get the best currency exchange rate.
The rooms are brightly colored, comfortable, and clean. You can get breakfast each day for 5 euros but we skipped that so I don’t know what all it includes.
You get one towel per person and one roll of toilet paper in your room for the length of your stay. Rooms are not cleaned and towels are not replaced while you are there. We ran out of toilet paper, but luckily had packed some on the advice of friends.
The host was amazing upon arrival and met our driver to take us the remainder of the way in. He sat with us and had tea and then disappeared for the remainder of the stay. We had a bit of a challenge when it came time to settle the bill as we could not find him. Then it ended with a miscommunication via What’s App on where to leave the key with the cash in the room. It was ultimately resolved but a bit disorganized.

Had a lovely stay at Riad Dar Tiflet. Yassine, the manager went out of his way to ensure we had absolutely everything we needed, from recommendations for our time in Marrakech (placing bookings at restaurants) to organizing taxis from to and from the Riad. The area is central and quaint and whilst only a 9 minute walk from the main square, it offers a great place to unwind after a day spent roving the souks. Will definitely be back!

In our 3+ week stay in Morocco, we had the chance to experience quite a few hotels and riads -- what we loved about Riad Dar Tiflet was that Yassine was the most attentive, friendly, and caring host; and the breakfast was an affordable add-on and it was really good (compared to other places where you might get only cold things). It wasn't noisy at night and the location is close to many things you'd want to see while in Marrakech.
Just a note: the double room is a little small for two people if you have your suitcases open, and the washroom has a curtain not a door, but there is another private washroom available if you prefer. Neither of these things were an issue for us, but I thought some readers might want to know.

Very quiet little hostel. It's 2 properties together. Yassine was amazing as per all previous reviews. Picked us up from main square. Showed us all the good spots to eat. Welcomed is with tea and biscuits and sat down to chat a bit and explain how the accommodation worked. Also printed our tickets and booked our taxi back. If we're in marrakech again. Will definitely stay there again. Nice quiet and lovely rooftop seats.

The location was great, 5min walk to main square in medina and many places to eat. The accomidation were ok but the best part was the staff. The host Yassine was wonderful, he helped arrange taxis, made breakfast, and helped with directions and ideas. I would gladly stay there again. It was like staying with your favorite brother.

The host Yassine is a very friendly and inviting character. He really has a love for life and made us feel extremely welcome. He kindly showed us around all the best places in marrakech and has a deep knowledge of the city. If you have any queries about things to do or require advice then Yassine will take great care of you.
The room was furnished with beautiful traditional Moroccan furniture and the AC was perfect for the hot July weather. I will be coming back again and recommending this place to all my friends! Worth every penny!

This property was charming, well laid out, spotlessly clean with lots of idyllic spots to curl up with a book, sit in the sun or watch the city go to bed. Situated very close to Djemaa Al Fnaa square, one can enjoy the excitement then stroll back to the quiet of the Riad. But the very best part of this place is Yassine, the manager. As first time travelers to Morocco, we placed our trust in Yassine and he was amazing! From recommending places to eat to organizing drives and tours, his expertise and sensitivity was evident in all aspects. Highly recommend Riad dar Tiflet and Will hopefully visit again.

We had a wonderful time in Marrakech staying at Riad Dar Tiflet. Yassine is an amazing host who made us feel so welcome, he went above and beyond in helping us make the most of our time in Morocco. The Riad itself is clean, quiet and really homely. It's a bit tricky to find for the first time though, so make sure you have a working phone in case you get lost like we did! If you're going to Marrakech and want to stay in a traditional, comfortable and friendly Riad then look no further! Thank you so much Yassine!

Very cool experience. Yassine really added value to the stay by booking taxis, excursions and providing great suggestions for visits and dinning. Also breakfast was really local, excellent and affordable. Super nice stay.
Room was clean, private bathroom. No air conditioning, but there was a fan so no problem with the room temperature.

Yassine is an incredible host. From “Moroccan whiskey,” aka mint tea on the rooftop, while the call to prayer is heard, to helpful information, you won’t regret your decision. One night, I couldn’t tell which way was the way back to the Riad, so one of the local police officers called him up, and a few minutes later he showed up on his motorbike and brought me back. WHO DOES THAT??!! A few minutes walk to the main square. This was on my Bucket List, and it did not disappoint. Amazing place!!

Spent six nights at this delightful and typically Moroccan Riad in the heart of the Medina. A real 'home from home' kind of place. The manager Yassine made me feel very welcome, and gave me lots of help and advice, as this was my first trip to Marrakesh. My room was fairly small, but had everything you need. Bathroom and shower, wardrobe, safe, comfortable bed and air conditioning and heating if required. The outstanding feature of this Riad, is the roof terrace, which has several seated areas, sun loungers and lovely views of Marrakesh and the Atlas mountains. I would recommend this Riad to anyone who wants a real Moroccan experience.

The rooftop was great as was the welcome mint tea. Clean room, though the bathroom could use a little more privacy. Easy to get to the main square one you know how to navigate though the riad itself is in a somewhat hidden street which can be an issue initially if finding it by yourself. Local "guides" trying to help you find it can be persistent. Otherwise a nice choice in the medina.

The three brothers running the riad took great pains to ensure we kept safe, were comfortable and found the places we wanted to see. From walking us to taxis, giving excellent recommendations of good places to eat, clear directions for walking around to providing refreshments and a superb breakfast, we felt well cared for. For the very reasonable price, the facilities were good and the rooftop terraces a quiet and relaxing place to recharge after braving the hectic streets.
