hotel did not have hot water, pool room smelled bad, cleaning staff was unkind, conditioner was empty and the bath tub plug was missing.

When I checked in they said there was no hot water. They sent me to the Marriott down the road where they honored the same room rate. However the Fairfield still charged me for the night so I ended up paying for two hotels but only staying at one.

Room was great. Looked like they had remodeled. The area had alot of restaurant choices. Had a hot breakfast: eggs, potatoes, sausage, waffles and other stuff. We will be staying here again.

I had a decent review (in mind) for this hotel. That until I was awaken at 6:40 in the morning by a maintenance guy trying to enter my room. Despite the fact I had a “no disturb” sign placed at the door, this guy tried to enter and if I didn’t have the lock on, I would wake up with him inside my room. So, after all the noise of the door hitting the lock a couple of times, I jumped out of the bed and confronted the person outside. That’s when I found out it was a maintenance employee that only said sorry and almost ran away.

One would think this is the worst part of the story but to me it was the customer service I got after the fact.
So, I went to the front desk searching for a manager and got directed to a “senior clerk” (the manager wasn’t available that early).
This guy made me repeat the story at least twice in a very infantile manner (so “he could understand”). He then proceeded with an extremely condescending approach (language wise to start with) and then escalated to the “these things happen” argument (appalling really).

He eventually apologized (as the minimum expected) but honestly, his approach not only didn’t remedy the situation at all and made things even worst.

The man at the front desk was excellent. Helpful. Pleasant and genuine.
TV didn't work in my original room due to cable issues and i ended up having to move. Not the worse thing - but pointing it out as it seemed to be a chronic issue with the cable company.

Sewer smell in the hallway 2 nights in a row. Picture frames ripped apart. Patio to pool has weeds all over it. Air conditioner loud and outside condition of air component, broke.

Overall the hotel was great and the staff friendly and helpful. The only thing I thought could be improved on was the breakfast. It was never hot, the quality of the produce wasnt great and had to use plastic cutlery and paper plates! Definitely room for improvement.

The rooms are nice but the service was bad. We stayed a week and had to go after towels 3 times. The last time there weren't enough to go around. It wasn't just us because the guy ahead of me took the last towels available.
Their breakfast was really good though.
