Probably the best room I've ever booked! Very large and very comfortable. The hotel not much to look at from the outside but beautiful inside. Well placed for all the places of interest and for a good selection of restaurants. Parking, quite pricey, but only about 50 yards from the hotel who arrange a small discount. A 2 night stay is ample to see most places but it's essential to book a hotel up the hill rather than down below.

We enjoyed the Hospederia. We were welcomed by a very nice woman that gave us a choice of rooms to pick from. The view from our room was beautiful and we also enjoyed sitting on the terrace. Walking from there was the beautiful cathedral with stunning stained glass windows by modern artists. The Casas Colgadas are within 5 to ten minutes walking distance where we saw the wonderful Museum of Abstract Art. From there crossing trough the iron bridge to reach the museum of contemporary art and the parador gave us magnificent views. And all that within 10-14 minutes distance from the Hospederia.
Everything at the Hospederia was very clean. Only one small suggestion, add shampoo next to the gel so one can wash the hair if needed.

An characterful property with a great location on the Main Street through the old town. Our room had great reviews over the river and ravine. At the time of our visit business was low and we had to make advance arrangements to ensure reception was manned, guests are given a key to the front door. Breakfast was not available, we were directed to an hotel 200m away to eat, it was not very good. Parking is a bit an issue, the choice is either a nearby secure garage which costs 17€ a day or free parking in a open public car park which is about 300m up the hill.

Nice staff, perfect location, great view, clean building & room. A fridge could be useful, bathroom is nice but need some repairs. Parking facility next and free parking at 200 meters

Quiet room at the back of the hotel down some steps and overlooking the patio area above the valley. Bathrooms bit small, but everything worked was clean and just tight for our 2 night stay. Convenient location, had to use the garage as we arrived on a Saturday and all other carparks were full. A bit expensive even with the hotel special rate

We had room 14, a large room with a four poster bed and a jacuzzi bath (we didn't get around to using it 😂). No tea and coffee making in the room but you can make a cup in reception for 1.50€. There is also a large fridge in reception from which you can purchase soft drinks, water, beer and crisps for 1€
Breakfast is standard continental style for 6€ per person.
The place is a short walk from the main square and Cathedral with lots of bars/restaurants close by. Parking is free in the main car park, you drive past the hotel, up the hill and through the arch of the Castle Gate and its on your right.
We would recommend the hotel and Cuenca and I'm sure we will be going back again.

Hospederia de Cuenca is a wonderful place to stay. Beautiful rooms with beautiful views (if your room is at the back). Very quiet, very tranquil and the staff extremely helpful. The only negative is that the restaurant wasn't available - I suspect that it was because there weren't enough guests at that time to make it worthwhile.
