It was a lovely, historical place to stay. Easy check in, friendly staff, enough towels, warm bedding, loved the fireplace and ambience. Breakfast was delicious. Two things to keep in mind if you’re looking to stay: the room was cold (stayed end of Oct) as it was stone, no insulation and windows single panes. (Bedding cozy, so no worries sleeping.) Also, bright and noisy in room at night bc of street lights peaking through blinds and night life, so bring noise machine and eye mask. As far as Cedarburg goes, one day and an overnight was plenty for my husband and me to see and shop where we wanted, have breakfast and coffee the next morning and feel we didn’t miss anything.

This is our second time at Washington Inn & we love it. Perfect place for a couple like us- we live/work in a very large, busy suburb in the Chicago-land area. Washington Inn gives us a calm, relaxing place to stay. We will be back!

What more can you say about this location? The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the complementary breakfast was delicious. They had an amazing gluten free option. I don’t think we’ve ever had a better stay anywhere. The rooms are quaint and comfortable. The location is great for downtown Cedarburg shopping and eating. I can’t say enough about our stay ❤️

It was a cute place, not what we expected though. It was a very small room and the walls were paper thin so we felt we had to be very quiet. Also, the main demographic here felt like 50-70 which is fine but again felt the need to be super quiet. It just didn’t fit what we like.
