I arrived to inquire at the front desk, but no one was present. I attempted to reach out via the provided phone number, only to find it ringing the phone on the unattended desk. Eventually, someone approached me while I was in my car attempting to make alternative reservations. Unfortunately, there were no rooms ready or accessible. The front desk attendant appeared displeased with my presence and offered no apology. The entire hotel had a strong marijuana odor, and during my brief stay, there was considerable disturbance outside the rooms, marked by loud shouting and commotion

I had a reservation at Williamsburg's America's Inn. Upon arriving there and attempting to check in, I ended up having problem after problem, not the least of which was the hotel staff being unable to create a key that would unlock the room door. The room itself didn't appear filthy, but neither was it more than superficially clean. The entire building was in lousy shape, transients loitered throughout the parking lot, the WiFi didn't work, and there appeared to be no way to actually produce a key that would allow me to get in and out of the place. So, I canceled my stay on the spot and was told I'd need get a refund via Expedia. And now, I get the wholly unacceptable explanation that just came in from Expedia — that I will get no refund because they cannot reach anyone at the hotel... what a surprise! My unsolicited advice is to stay far, far away from this dump.

Very outstanding staff. A friendly area. Over all I will definitely comeback !

The people were great. There is something going on with the Williamsburg hotel computer systems. Not just this hotel, guests get assigned to the same room. We had three families walk into the room while we sat there. We were all assigned to the same room which was being remodeled with contractor garbage and cigarette buds every where. Our travel company sent us to another company. The people employed there was nice. It happened at other hotels since then.

Absolutely disgusting! Bugs, cigarette butts in the room, trash in the room, pubes on the mattress, no fitted sheets, windows don't open, vent in bathroom didn't work, most lights didn't work, broken phone, lit matches on floor right outside room, no toilet paper, junkies rolling on the ground outside. They tried to say I didn't have a reservation and to go after already paying and booking 2 months ago! Keycard kept not working.

DONT STAY HERE. Key didnt work three times, dead cockroaches right outside of the door, no soap provided. The “Free Wi-Fi” suppose to be provided, doesn’t work and don’t tell them because they will yell at you and call you a liar behind the glass. Nothing was done to compensate the horrible experience my partner and I had, the customer service was awful, the place was disgusting, I would never ever go back here.

Although I had no problems, this place looks sketchy. Non secured entrances to building. I will avoid on my next stay in Williamsburg.

Not providing good information on WIFI and the room is nice but still alittle dirty not really 100 percent clean and microwave broken no coffee maker in the room. Alittle noisy cuz most people there are renting like weekly/monthly

The place was ok. Clean room, no bugs. The room had a shortage of lighting, 4 lamps 2 light bulbs. Microwave didn't work, no coffee pot in rhe room, the alarm clock was just close enough to the plug to reach. I had to plug it in. At least there was one. Bathroom was not dirty, the overall look of the place was ok. It seem to have long term residence that hung around. To some it may be what they're used to seeing. Not bad people but it is what it is. People making it happen as best as they could. That didn't bother me as i understood my surroundings.
The wife and i stand 2 nights. We were in and out a lot. No problem for us as we are from NYC and you get what you pay for. A close to cheap room, close to food, and other stuff to see and do. If you don't mind the PJ's this place is just like that.

This motel was, hands down, the worst place I've ever stayed.
Firstly, the door looked like it had been kicked in and was difficult to get open. The room itself had bugs and weird red stains on the floor. Most the light switches didn't work.
I'm pretty sure someone use to live in the room long term, because there were stickers on the walls and magnets on the fridge. The walls had holes were things use to hang. The mirror above the sink was missing, though I'm pretty sure we passed it in the stairwell.
The two days we were there, no one came to clean the room or even empty the trash. But someone did come into the room the first day while we were out, since the light we left on was turned off. We had taken all our stuff with us because the place was just that sketch. The next day when we came back from our adventureing, the light we left on was still on. Weird.
They say you get what you pay for, and this was not worth a single dollar. Do yourself a favor any stay anywhere else.

If I could give this place 0 stars I could. This place is a complete rip-off and a dumpster. When we arrived, not only were we not given the room that I booked online, but the receptionist was very rude and unprofessional. The worst part came when we we got to our actual room - the furniture had stains and looked rotten, the beds didn't seem very sanitary, and the floor looked disgusting. Then we went into the bathroom and that's where we received the biggest shock - there was MOLD all over the ceiling. We had goosebumps just from looking at it, it was black and sprawled across the ceiling of the bathroom. I complained to management about it but they didn't care and basically shrugged it off as "too bad". Thankfully we only made plans to stay there one night.

The phone number listed on the site is the cell phone of an employee, who was very rude. When we checked in and went to the rooms, we noticed how broken and run down everything was. The pictures on the website and the room we actually got were completely different.
