Amazing views, great pool, friendly staff and a great terrace. Room itself was very basic for the price paid and not like in the photos on website. Also location was difficult to access without a car. Given the cost the room was overpriced.

The hotel is on a hill. We only went there by car, it was too hot for us to walk up and down. The road itself is not great quality and is steep, so it can be a bit scary to drive up for some drivers. Just take your time.
The view from our room and the swimming pool area was great. The bar service is very nice too. You can order a range of rood and cocktails.
The Standard room we had was just that, standard. Could use some extra decorations because it was so bare it had an echo. Also only 2 electrical sockets, and none of them naar the bed.
Aircon, fridge and bathroom in good condition and a decent mattress.

TV did not work, we complained daily but did not get fixed. Had to collect towels and soups as they would not be replenished. There is a restaurant but you have to dine by the pool, limited choice of food at a high cost. Pool bar selection very limited. Walk to the sea or shops is 15/20 minutes but seriously steep and narrow hill for cars and pedestrians, you need a car for sure with the heat and terrain.

We stayed at Dionysos Village Resort as part of a longer honeymoon on Kefalonia. Dionysos was our last stop before we flew home.
The good:
- Hospitable and welcoming staff who were kind and made us feel welcome.
- A lovely view of the Ionian sea.
- Incredible and large pool with a great pool bar.
- Modern looking rooms with all the amenities you need.
- Close to some great beaches and restaurants in the area.
The bad:
- The property, while beautiful, doesn't seem well maintained. Our shower head was broken, sink easily filled up with water as it was clogged, pool changing rooms had no lights, door locks to the changing rooms were broken, etc.
- The breakfast was, in my opinion, a disgrace. Not only was it not included in the price, but it offered a limited selection of food specially tailored for British tourists. Bacon, eggs and beans. We came to Greece to enjoy the fantastic food it has to offer, yet this hotel has somehow decided that it would rather offer the standard boring breakfast selection found in a majority of hotels. The few items that were Greek were not up to the quality we had at other hotels. Expected a lot more.
- On that note, a Greek coffee was an extra charge as well during breakfast, which was shocking. I've never been to a hotel where they charge extra for a coffee.

The property is fantastic. Terrific balconies with gorgeous views, great pool and friendly staff. Only issue is property is located ontop of a mountain with a long walk down to the town and beaches, especially with kids. We had to take a taxi everywhere but overall great place to stay.

Amazing hotel, lovely staff, very clean and nice. Keep in mind that it’s the highest point of Lassi, it’s impossible to walk uphill when it’s 30 degrees. To go to the beach/city centre you need taxi or your own car.

The hotel was truly luxurious! The view was stunning and the pool breathtaking. There were plenty of seating areas around the pool, all beautifully designed and comfortable. The staff and owners were wonderful, and on Mondays, there was a BBQ evening with a taverna night featuring local singers and dancers. During the taverna night, we truly felt the local folklore and there was a magical atmosphere. The people were kind and pleasant, and the staff was amazing and professional. We highly recommend this hotel for a perfect vacation.

Fantastic views over the sea, staff very friendly and helpful.
Walking down to the beach is fine but budget 8 euros for a taxi back up.

Absolutely wonderful!! The room was comfortable, neat and clean.with beautiful views over the sea. Staff were friendly and very helpful. An ideal setting - only 10min from the airport, a lovely beach just a 15min stroll away, I also enjoyed a trip into Argoustoli, the capital, to see some turtles. A great holiday.

The view of the ocean was the best part. The swimming pool was also excellent. Walking back to the hotel from the main strip was a little tough due to the steep incline. And I would have liked to see more Greek options for breakfast instead of all the English options. The rooms were cleaned very well.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel - we're so very glad we booked it. The room (no.7) was enormous, with a lounge area separate to the bedroom; and to top it off, we had a sea-facing balcony which gave us magnificent views over the land and sea. I would suggest hiring a car or quad to get to and from the hotel, as it is a steep walk to the main road (just short of a kilometre), but I have no hesitation in highly recommending this hotel for it's great location and stunning ameneties!

Lovely resort at the top of a hill we walked it a lot but in the heat of the day a bit of a challenge. Did not detract from this little gem of a place though

Dionysos Village Resort is a fantastic place to stay for a holiday. The views are absolutely fantastic, mainly due to it being on a large hillside. Contrary to past reviews, air conditioning is now included and they no longer charge to use it in the room. Every single staff member we met was friendly, smiley and talkative which really added to the experience. The bar is very well priced, €4-5 for a pint or bottle of beer, €7 for a ‘classic’ cocktail and €10 for a ‘premium’ cocktail. Happy hour was from 18:00-20:00 every day where the drinks are cheaper! The food from the bar’s kitchen was really nice too, highly recommend the salads or the traditional greek dishes! They serve lunch and dinner from there next to the pool. Breakfast finishes at 10am every day and is located in the canteen overlooking the pool, selection was decent with eggs, bacon, sausages, toast with jam/marmalade, fruit selection, pastries, ham & cheese, etc.
The hotel is in a good location if you use taxi’s or hire a car. I wouldn’t recommend walking up OR down the hill(s) during the day as it’s simply too hot in peak season. The taxis are very well priced, generally being €7 for any trip to Lassi, €8 to anywhere in Argostoli town, etc. Keep in mind the taxis are cash only. The closest ATM is near the supermarket (Mina) at the bottom of the hill, it charges €3.95 for each withdrawal.
The beach at the bottom of the hill (Makris Gialos) is beautiful and the sunbeds in front of Costa Costa are great!
