Lovely quiet hotel just outside the centre of Honfleur, within easy walking distance of the harbour. Our room and bathroom were spacious and well equipped, and we even had our own little terrace with table and chairs. The staff were friendly and helpful, and gave us a most useful map of the town with walks.I left all my phone and tablet chargers behind, and they kept them safe for me until I could collect them. Many thanks to Hotel Monet, we would certainly stay again.

More of a motel than a hotel
Only 8 booked parking spaces, only street parking available for most guests.
Limited breakfast options.
The room was clean with outside seating.
The walk back uphill from Honfleur is no for the faint hearted.

Appreciated the late check in as we were delayed. Fabulous location within walking distance of harbour and restaurants. Will return.

The room was quite small. We had 3 people in our party. Other than 2 beds, there was not much room. WiFi was almost nonexistent. It worked at slow speed for an hour. After that, it did not work, and it was very frustrating. Also, the door lock was almost impossible to make it work. The owner/manager showed me in the beginning, and he showed me again before us going out for dinner. Even after 20 min trials, I could not lock it from outside in the morning. Overall, it was very frustrating and disappointing.

a small property at a great location from restaurants and the pier. 5-10 min walk max. be aware that it’s a uphill walk when returning to the hotel (prob would call this a
motel..). clean and cute room but doesn’t look thoroughly vacuumed.
ok our biggest problem: no wifi. the weather was
raining intermittently and a bit windy so there is no
internet due to the weather......
FYI, when traveling this is a huge deal as you want to find informations; where to eat, what to see and read up on history if needed. anyways that was a big bummer.

It was very good and the breakfast was worth the extra euros. WiFi was not very strong, but the location was easy to walk to the main part of town.

An interesting place. The basic setup is a house where I think the owners live, with extensions built to one side and in onother block across the carpark. The unit we stayed in had its own patio area with a privacy screen partly obscuring the outside. The patio had a seating area. This led to the room, which was entered through a large sliding patio door. The large bedroom had a settee at the far end with a TV. There was a door through to the bathroom. The only window is the patio door at the front entrance. There are full length curtains for further privacy. Good coffee maker and fridge. So good size. We were next to another unit and several above us. Problems were no airflow through the appartement and no air conditioner. So it could get quite warm in hot weather. Also the patio has lights that are completely automatic. So no switch And on in the evening until 11.30. So a recipe for attracting mosquitoes and only way to cool down is to open the front door. It wasn't hot when we were there so not a problem. Also we could see straight into next door to see the occupants lying on their bed as the curtains weren't closed. Lastly the carpark is open to the public who could walk up to your front window. So we felt less safe than a reception that you pass through to go into the building and then get to your room. But it is a quiet area. And was very clean and comfortable. 5 minutes to the centre of Honfleur and perhaps 10 minutes back up a slight slope for the last 100 yards.

Breakfast very nice at 10.5 Euros. Basic accommodation.
