As touring cyclists, we appreciate the secure bike storage.
Restaurant is very expensive for the quality of food. We had schnitzel and fish and chips and both seemed to be frozen foods. Good selection of beer.

Our room was in the attic, with no ventilation. It was 87 degrees F at night in the room. One of our party of 6 people recently had knee surgery, going up the very steep steadies was very painful. There was no lift.

This hotel needs some updating. There were stains on the carpets and a broken window in the breakfast area. Otherwise it was great. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was large and clean. There was good value. I would stay again.

Great location. Big room with proper, solid bathroom door (not like the useless trendy glass ones that allow noise and light to disturb your partner in the middle of the night). Nice patio, good sized pool, tasty food that was good value for money.
The carpets throughout the hotel are old and stained and the decoration is very dated. Apparently, COVID interfered with renovation plans.
The room misses brewing facilities and it was the first time I had a breakfast buffet with no toaster.

Hotel in Lhee, close to ASTRON. Lhee is nice, beautiful houses. Would be nice if the bar could be open longer than 22.00.

Hotel is close to nothing, village of Dwingeloo has grocery stores, good restaurants and friendly people. Hotel staff is haughty and arrogant - restaurant's food is average & expensive. It was very hot when I was there - hotel lacks A/C, rooms lack ventilation. On top of everything else, they double-billed me and took a long time to get refund !

As a 4-star hotel: worn out. Rooms are equipped but in the seventies this may have been comfortable. Now, fully out of date. The place needs a very thorough review and refurbishment.

Overall a nice hotel in a quiet area. It is very rural so if the smells of the countryside bother you, then consider carefully as it backs on to fields of cows and sheep. It is also a dog-friendly hotel and there was a slight aroma of our canine friends, but not in the room or bar etc.
Good parking areas, rooms was quite large and comfortable. Powerful and warm shower.Very quiet village, no other bars, etc. So be prepared to drive or just use the hotel's amenities.
Staff were good, except one very rude member. On arrival I was met by a very unwelcoming lady, who could not find my booking and had to shout to someone else to help, with no apology for the confusion and I wanted to order a meal at 8.55pm and was told in no uncertain terms by the same person that they had stopped doing food, even though the restaurant advertised as being open till 9.00pm and said member of staff had just given a table of six their menus
The one time I did eat in the restaurant, the food was very good and the staff were attentive and polite.
I would stay here again for the tranquility from a tough day, but hopefully get a slightly better reception and better service.

This is a very comfortable hotel, used mainly by Netherlanders for outward-bound / walking breaks. It was let down by some very shoddy furniture in our room and there were no in-room hot drinks facilities. Restaurant food was excellent.

While the hotel was comfortable and clean it was disappointing to be told when we arrived at 9.30pm that we couldn't eat despite the information saying that the brasserie was open until 10.30pm. Breakfast was ok but basic. The TV emitted a very high level noise that was unbearably painful for my daughter. The surrounding area is lovely.

All three of us had a lovely stay and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings after a day at the TT. Nothing is too much trouble, will go back again.

Arrived late night but reception closed at 7pm. Said they had called or emailed but neither had taken place. Hotels.com probably gave wrong forget of phone number as UK code missing and too many zeros. Main number did not get answered. So I had to sleep in my car. Not happy!
