Really nice atmosphere in this hotel and very good evening meal in the restaurant. I bet it’s lovely sitting on the outdoor terrace overlooking the lake on a sunny evening. Shame it was raining when we were there!

The room was clean, spacious and the bed super comfortable. The only down sides were that the front desk lady was a bit rude during checkin and later on her and a cook were shouting about another colleague of theirs and I could hear it all the way up to the bedroom - not super professional. Plus I could easily hear the guests in nearby rooms.

You can check-in and set baggages done in 10 mins when you arrive train station, then get free traffic coupons to go whole neuchâtel city. Good value, quiet, enjoyed the views over the lake and the town, lovely staff, and really nice patio restaurant. Climbing up after visiting the Old Town resulted in a bit of panting, but not much.
