The location of the Romantik could not be better! the rooms were extra large and very comfortable. the staff was extremely helpful. it also has a very nice restaurant that is part of the hotel.

Very cute hotel with a restaurant at the bottom. Our room was very comfortable and cute. Treats and cute amenities in our room. The shower in our bathroom was heavenly. Breakfast was delicious. We went to the restaurant for dinner and the food was fantastic. Would happily stay again.

This hotel was our favorite of the 4 hotels we used for our travels in Luxembourg and Germany. The pictures do not do it justice! The rooms are absolutely lovely with beautifully tiled bathrooms and crown molding. Rooms had bathrobes and slippers, wash cloths, cups for water in bathroom, a complimentary water bottle, and much more. We had two rooms for our family of four. The bathrooms were great because the showers were enclosed fully to not get water everywhere! Rooms were a good size. The breakfast was the best we had in our travels. Instead of just a tray of plain scrambled eggs, we were given a menu of egg options that were made for us. We had omelets, over easy, and scrambled with vegetables. The usual breads, deli meat cuts, fresh fruit, and yogurt were also available. We were given jams upon checking out. The service at hotel was friendly and fantastic. We arrived a couple of hours before check in. The reception took our bags to our room to come back later. She also stored out bags after check out so we could continue to explore the city before leaving on the train. When asked for a dinner recommendation, she gave us a good one; I think it was called Sims by the Porta Nigra. We walked to the hotel from the train station in about 15 minutes; it's a flat walk. The hotel is walking distance from the old town, porta nigra, and cathedral. Trier was a great stop on our Germany vacation, and this hotel was a big part of why we loved it so much!

Superb hotel. Friendly and accommodating staff. Room was excellent, great decor and spacious bathroom. Breakfast was awesome!

Although just a one night stay we had a very nice room with air conditioning. Extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious and complimentary. Hotel staff was friendly and courteous.
