The hotel and restaurants were great. The view is unbelievable. Main restaurant is pretty overpriced but we had the bar in croute de sel and it was absolutely stunning. Le Croisic is not very charming though, it’s built on everywhere and as we went outside high season all the houses where shut a bit
Like a ghost place.

On arrival we were greeted by welcoming reception staff.
We were a bit disappointed with the room we booked a traditional double room with terrace.
The room was basic and not what we expected going by what was advertised. Also the terrace was very small.
Although the restaurant had wonderful views over looking the beach we were amazed at how expensive it was.
We were not altogether satisfied with the person in the bistro on our first morning who advised is we could only have coffee as we were too late. We weren't.
Overall a pleasant stay

Stayed two nights in mid September, our first visit to Le Croisic. Top class hotel; we stayed in a "Tradition room" (No 109), which was huge with a very large decked terrace looking out to sea. The room was beautifully decorated, bright and airy. We didn't try the hotel restaurants, but they looked excellent; the harbour area with a good selection of restaurants and bars is a 15 minute walk away. The coastline is rugged and exciting with some nice sandy coves, and I would recommend the walk around the headland to the harbour which takes approx two and a half hours at a medium pace.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and would not consider staying anywhere else when we return to Le Croisic.
