It was cheap and lived up to it’s name “Budget Ibis” we could accept everything as we chose budget - but fire doors wedged open just says no control, no management and no idea. Sorry would not recommend on the basis that it is unsafe. We knew there was no food or drink on site and accepted that.

althoght there is no elevator, the manager carried my luggage to the floor of our room. This is a budget hotel, but perfectly fine for an overnight after returning from canal du midi. There is also a sister hotel next door with a bR and good restaurant where we were able to enjoy dinner in a pretty setting

No issues here.
They advised me in advance that I would need a code for late arrival. Everything worked as I would expect for this style of hotel; bed was OK, shower was hot, WiFi was fine. Enough parking, so all good.
I did not have the breakfast.
The location was convenient for my purposes, so 110% no problem, and I would be happy to stay again.

Rooms are basic and clean bedding but the corridors are scruffy and dirty.

First impression of the Ibis budget hotel and surrounding area was not good, the reception area was dated and dingy, with an overall pervading smell of damp and ageing. The first room we were offered was on the second floor, up two flights of stairs, as I am bad on my legs I asked the receptionist for a ground floor room, which she did, which was very helpful. The room was for a wheelchair user, and although it could do with a good clean, it was adequate. We were booked in for two nights, the second day, we went into the adjacent Ibis hotel to see if we could book a meal, but to our great surprise, the were no less than three dogs at the tables, all belonging to different owners, I’ve heard of of dog friendly hotels but not in a restaurant. one dog was on a seat being fed by its owner. Needless to say we made our excuses and left. The over impression of the place was of being totally outdated, and in a busy industrial area,( two car transporters in the car park ) not in the best tradition of the Ibis style. We had been to the Ibis hotel at St Lo ( France) earlier in the week and it was totally different, and pleasant. I would seriously deter anyone from stopping at this hotel,

the touch screen for check in after hours is not working properly. It was a nightmare checking in. It has to be improved immediately. Customers arriving after hours could risk to remain outside.

Good clean comfortabke hotel for an overnight stay on the way through south of France. Only thing that could be better was a better pillow. It was like a few sheets of phyllo pastry!!!

We opted for this hotel because there was a parking problem at most of the central hotels so we off-set the cheapness of this hotel against the 20e each way for the taxi to town. No major problem but on reflection I think I would go for something a little less cramped.
No problems at all once we'd found it, and the breakfast was excellent value like the hotel. If you're looking for a cheap option and aren't too fussy, look no further.
