It was close to downtown Alexandria Bay. Our room was run down. The window didn’t close in bathroom and it was 47 in the morning.

My bathroom was very clean and updated. Had enough towels, soap bars for sink and shower. Tissues and 2 rolls of toilet paper. Magnifying mirror that extended from wall. But room had a musty smell at first but after awhile lessened by having fan on all night.

We’re only there one night. We stayed in the cottages. They were definitely old, like the 1950s but very clean and neat and tidy. Close to attraction in Alex Bay. Would stay there again.

This property had all of the basics that we needed for our short stay in the area. It was nearby the Swan Bay resort were our friends were RV'ing, and allowed us easy access to Clayton and Alex Bay. Basic necessities provided including a clean and comfortable beds and bathroom. Did not hear much noise from nearby units as well. Thanks for providing an excellent experience.

Old school motel. People were hanging out front of their room which was fine but some came back after the bar and were quite loud. Nice they have an ice machine. Rooms a bit dated. Over priced for what it is.

Our cabin was tiny. Mattress seemed very old, my wife and I rolled to the middle. TV didn't work. Furniture had seen better days. On the plus side the shower was hot and the grounds were very nice

Convenient location as we were visiting Clayton for work and Alex Bay for fun. Easy and quick check in. Could use updating of linens, window coverings, but otherwise we found it very comfortable and clean.

I liked this property for a short stay of 2 or 3 nights. It reminded me of a retro 50's motel, but in good condition, with comfy beds and hot water shower. We had booked a 3 person stay in a 2 bedroom cottage, but only had 2 people come, which worked out for us bc we both used C Paps and there were no bedside tables. After rearranging some of the chairs we made it work, but realized 3 would have been very tight. Very clean, should have mentioned that first bc that and price is why I booked there in the first place!

I had a cabin, and I am a bigger man, so the cabin was way too small. Barely able to get in the bathroom, and forget about the shower. The cabin has not been renovated or worked in in years. It’s a true cabin, better left in the woods.

When booking had the right date when payed got the receipt for the wrong day. Hotel could not change the date as hotels.com is a third party site they were the only ones who could change the date or cancel. They did neither and I was charged for not even being able to stay. I deleted the app and will never use them again.

This place is great. Fred (the owner) is awesome. If you need anything he will take care of it. It's nice to have a owner come check on you to see if everything is ok and just to chat. Located in a very nice spot. There is a Big M just down the road and only takes less than 5 minutes to get to Alexandra Bay. Bonnie Burnett

Classic Mid Century Motel, could be earlier like 30"s or 40's. There are about 10 rooms & 4 or 5 cabins. Very clean, comfy beds. You get old school door keys which I like They allow dogs which is a bouns for us even though this trip did not include Fido. Very close to Alexandria Bay & there's a grocery store & gas statio just down the road.

The area around sink was too small that my toothbrush wouldn’t stay because of the angle. Also needs curtains that the sun doesn’t come through.
