I’ve stayed here multiple times over the past 5 years and under new ownership this hotel is MUCH cleaner now. They also replaced the bedding with nicer sheets, down comforter and nicer pillows.

I understand the hotel is under new ownership and it sounds like exciting changes are on the horizon. However, until the renovations are complete, please be prepared for a more basic experience. While the indoor pool is open, the hot tub isn't very hot—more lukewarm. Unfortunately, housekeeping didn’t service my room during my stay, and the bathroom didn’t appear fully clean upon arrival. The continental breakfast was a bit disappointing, so I’d highly recommend walking across the parking lot to She Sings instead.

Old and outdated. They are renovating. Smells weird. Hot tub is not hot. Was told the temperature only reaches 85 degrees. The pool was freezing. Beds were ok.

Cockroach in the bathroom. Very run down. Shower fan sounded like a semi idling, couldn’t use it. Housekeeper was trying, but carpets dirty. No elevator to 2nd level, had to haul everything up and down the stairs. Bright light on all night on balcony lit up the room and no switch to turn it off, no room darkening curtains. New owners had contractors in repairing structural issues. Light fixtures removed from walls and not replaced. They did not offer to comp us when advised of issues. Won’t stay there again.

Under new management and they are in the process of renovations. The sound deadening between rooms is not very good, We had a noisy group next to us that kept us up till 12:30 AM and were running the TV loud at 6:30 AM. There is no night desk to compalin too. I would recoomend that management make their quiet hours very clear on check-in. Everything worked as expected.

Hotel is run down and out of date. Outside was dirty and weedy with flower boxes filled with trash. It was chosen specifically for the king "deluxe" room with amenities, specifically the spa tub. Once in the tub, we discovered it did not work! Found out there are electrical issues! Concerning due to water and electricity! Also, should have been disclosed at the time of booking. Were only offered a 15% discount when we complained. Our room also had a porch that we couldn't sit on due to dirty, webs and spider infestation!

This was a great hotel and for a Saturday I payed 125 on a busy weekend. The guy in the front was helpful and friendly. It’s an older hotel, but the room was very clean, they had a swimming pool, hot tub. We sat on the patio had a glass of wine and can see the the beautiful lake. They also had a nice putt putt outside the resort, that belong to the hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

I might classify this as a motel rather than a resort, and some of the facility needs updating, but they are in the process of remodeling. It’s nice and close to a lot of attractions, and our balcony provided a nice view of the lake. Mini golf was fun, and Webb’s Candy and Gifts had some nice jitems. Overall, decent for the price.

Restaurant closed not noted on major travel engines. This is high tourist season. Place was empty except for three pick-up trucks. Light out in bathroom. No water cups anywhere. Sliding glass porch door missing one handle, the other a repair. Very bright porch light cannot be turned off. Renovation work halted some time ago. No workers anywhere. Mismatched everything.

Place is struggling. Had to climb stairs with luggage to second floor. Building is messy looking and very outdated. Pool heater and hot stub still not working after 2 years. Continental breakfast is packaged food, cereal, and limited fruit choices - no hot food selections.

If they get this place up running with full facilities and staff it will be really nice. It is a work in progress and that’s ok but if it stays this way it will not succeed. I asked for an extra pillow and was told there was not one extra pillow on site. It is pretty bare minimum right now. Felt more like a roadside motel than a Chautauqua lake cozy inn.

The room carpet was filthy and the wallpaper is missing from the bathroom walls. Sink is rusted and the tub has no drain over. Bathroom fan is very noisy.

1)The property is in the process of remodel so there is still much painting to be done. 2) the top floor doors at the end of isle were open all day long and gave a bad appearance. 3) we had a problem with the TV but the staff fixed it quickly. 4) the bed was great. 5) the "breakfast" is not really available and the coffee was not what the modern traveller is used to. More attention should be paid in this area. 6) the staff was very helpful and the room was serviced promptly. 7) we will have no problem recommeding this hote to anyone.

Webb's is an old two floor motel that used to be THE place to stay on Lake Chautauqua forty years ago. It was recently sold and is being completely remodeled. I would not hesitate staying there again. Hopefully, it will be great again.

We paid extra for jacuzzi tub it was shut off we cpikdnt use it. The pool was freezing the hot tub was just as cold. Booked this hotel for my girlfriends birthday and paid extra for everything and we couldnt even use anything. Why charge someone high price for amentities and couldnt use them. I believe i should of gotten a discount. So if someone tents the jacuzzi room let them know they arent avaible to be used . Save your money !!!!

The hotel has a new owner and “is under construction.” Lots of deferred maintenance, doors left propped open,awful coffee, poor mattress, no room service one day.

bathroom was not clean use bars of soap laying and bathtub scum on bathtub and faucets. Just plain dirty in the bathroom room itself was OK. I was afraid sheets weren’t changed, but I can’t prove that.

We loved staying at the Webb Resort. It's currently under house improvements, painting etc. but it was very accommodating and the price was reasonable. Very close to tons of activities around the lake. Nice indoor pool and workout room, and great coffee selection in the lobby. Management takes good care of the facility.

They are renovating during our visit. Saw the same guy at counter for 2 days but he was professional and helpful. Great attitude. Pool was very cold and hot tub was not hot. No complimentary breakfast but they had 24 hour coffee and snacks. Location was grerat for Mayville. The lake is right across the street and there are several restuarants and bars close by. Tourist stops as well. Would return after renovations are done if I plan another trip.

We arrived 30 minutes after allowed check-in. Room wasn't reay yet but the staff were very open and honest with the reason for delay. Even with renovations happening, The place was very clean and staff were very friendly. Definitely will stay here again.

Very central and convenient to several attractions around Chautauqua Lake. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Loved the hot tub/jacuzzi.
