Take an easy stroll to the river, beach, park, cafes or pub all within minutes. The Bungalow has many features with cosy interiors, a fully equipped house and extensive outdoor amenities ready for you to create holiday memories.
Originally built in the 1960s, The Scamander Bungalow has been thoughtfully updated with some original features still in place to honour the seaside shack feel.
The Bungalow has been styled and furnished with coastal charm throughout to make your stay cosy, comfortable and easily enjoyed by everyone, including little ones. Mindful of creating a memorable and easy stay for our guests, you will find a fully equipped house with added holiday touches to enjoy.
The interior details:
The Bungalow offers three generous bedrooms, with beautifully comfortable queen beds and the third room with two single beds. Allowing up to 6 guests. Little ones have access to a selection of books and toys to enjoy.
With a long galley style lounge room, you can cosy into the couch, enjoy the ocean views or sit by the indoor fire in the cooler months. There is a selection of art, antiques and books for guests to enjoy and peruse. For ease, you can also cool and warm The Bungalow with the split system heaters and fans throughout.
The kitchen and dining area has all you require to cook and share meals either inside or outside in the private patio. The kitchen has a full size fridge, microwave, coffee machine and all the features you can expect.
While disconnecting on holidays is a nice reset The Bungalow does offer Wi-Fi, allowing you to connect to your apps on the smart TV, or use as needed. Listening to your holiday playlist can be done by connecting to the Marshall bluetooth music device.
The ocean can be seen and enjoyed from multiple locations at The Bungalow, making sunrise and sunset truely magical. With an easy walk (within 2-5 minutes) you can enjoy the local pub, park, cafe, skatepark and restaurants. As well as explore the river, incredible beach and coastline.
Scamander is known for its beautiful wide, sandy beaches. The town is based at the mouth of Scamander River, making it the perfect spot to spend days by the sea, surf or fish.
Outside details:
The front yard offers parking spaces for up to three cars. One behind a secure gate. There is a lovely little deck, which is the best spot to enjoy your morning coffee with an ocean view.
The backyard offers a well equipped patio, with a large outdoor dining setting, BBQ, and occasional chairs. The patio is wrapped with festoon lighting providing a magical night time ambience. Treat yourself to a relaxing outdoor soak in the incredibly restored 1950s bath, with hot and cold water available to suit all seasons. A wonderful way to unwind.
There is a little veggie patch for our guests to wander through and use what may be growing at the time. The yard can be secured by keeping the gates closed, and is fully fenced for ease of mind with little ones.
