**The home remained safe during Hurricane Helene, with only a brief power outage. The surrounding views are breathtaking, offering a serene, peaceful setting perfect for relaxing on the decks and enjoying some of the best scenery around. While Chimney Rock Village did sustain significant damage and will need time to recover, a few restaurants are open, and roads from the east and south are clear. We’d love to welcome you and appreciate your support in helping Lake Lure recover.
Wonderful vacation cabin inside the Rumbling Bald Resort at Lake Lure. This is the best rated cabin at Lake Lure. It has 5 bedrooms,, 3 decks, hot tub, pool table, foosball table, fire table and card room. It is overlooking golf course hole that was in Dirty Dancing Movie. It includes full resort passes for 14 guests. Rumbling Bald Resort has three pools, lazy river, 2 golf courses, spa, private beach and marina. Make family memories in the great room with vaulted ceilings and the game room with an attached screened in porch. Listen to the nearby waterfall and enjoy the West facing view of the pond and golf course with Bald Mountain in the background.

10/10 ⭐️ Booking, communication, check in / check out process was seemless. The host instantly responded when contacted. The property is as pictured, in an absolutely beautiful location, a perfect spot for our family gathering and very nicely appointed with all you need. The resort includes great amenities and our grandkids loved the beach area. You can rent a pontoon boat at the Rumbling Bald marina which was such a great experience. Highly recommend! This house met all of our needs! From having 2 refrigerators in the kitchen which was a HUGE help and then even having a 3rd one in the garage was the icing on the cake! Traveling with a large group means alot of food! The sun room rite off of the kitchen made a perfect spot for the kids to eat and play games and we could close the door when they were loud!! The adults enjoyed games and cards every night around the kitchen table!! The kitchen provided all the necessary tools to cook! Which we cooked at least 2 meals a day at the the house! We only had 1 minor complaint we wish they would have left more bath towels for us! We would absolutely recommend this house!!

Arriving at 4:20 pm,inside thermostat read 80 degrees. Prop mgr was aware & I was advised that AC tech would be out on Sun.Strong urine odor on 2nd floor from prev renter, which they had spot cleaned, but the odor was very strong all week.AC tech fixed AC & also found droppings in attic. Not sure if pest co came out. My guests did hear noise in attic at night. Also ice maker was broken.

Our family gathered at Dancing Falls for a week and had a wonderful time.
I was a bit disappointed that the waterfall mentioned in the name and description of the property is so far down the mountain side that we couldn't get anywhere near it! Our kids are big nature explorers, and they were hoping to get their feet wet.
That said, we made very good use of the pool and the beach. That was a real lifesaver during this hot, sticky week!

The house was wonderful with lots of space for all of us. We went on walks each day and the area was so enjoyable to explore. The house was still decorated for the holidays which was such a nice surprise. Would definitely stay there again.

This was a very clean, spacious, well stocked cabin with amazing views. The trees were beautiful & still had most of their leaves. We enjoyed sitting on the deck listening to the waterfall, late night conversions by the fire pit, playing games & taking advantage of the outdoor amenities; corn hole, giant chess board, checkers, basketball & Jenga. A nice playground for the kids & beach area! So much to do right on the property! We seen a bear waking past our cabin and then again the next day at a neighbors cabin & walking near the road (early evening) on our way back from the beach area. We got excellent photos & videos of this. Highlight of the trip!! Four days was NOT long enough for us! Would love to come back in early summer. My favorite cabin so far!

We used this property as our annual family ladies trip. There were 9 of us present and there was plenty of space for rest, relaxation, and cooking some good food! We ranged in age from 21 to 81 and there was something available for all of us. The only issue we had was locating a light switch (we missed the dimmers!) And the keys to the hot tub (they were right in front of our eyes 🤣). Laurie answered our concerns quickly and checked in on us. We will definitely return to this property!!

We had a nice stay for the weekend of my fiancés birthday with several friends from surrounding areas. We had plenty of space in the cabin and lots of fun things to do all around including games/pool table/hot tub, and even just walking in the neighborhood/resort area.

Laurie's house is phenomenal! A group of us came to stay for a few nights (10 adults) and we had more than enough space. The rooms were great and no one felt like they were getting the short end of the stick. We were supplied with more than enough towels and washcloths as well. Communication was great and Laurie was very responsive and hospitable.
We loved the space on the decks and the fire pit allowed us to enjoy it as it was pretty cold during our stay. Not to mention theres an amazing view of the water - it was so peaceful and serene. We loved the game rooms as well as we enjoyed the puzzles, checkers, and pool table!
We've taken this trip for 6 years now and this house was our favorite without a doubt. Even better, since it's located in a resort, there's a spa 2 minutes away we visited for massages and facials (it was life changing). There are also many other amenities you can use through the resort as well (putt putt, an indoor pool, boat rentals, etc.).
I highly recommend this cabin for groups looking for a nice place to enjoy nice views and a great time with family or friends. We hope to come back again!

My siblings and our spouses once again booked Dancing Falls to celebrate our mother’s birthday (now deceased), and to enjoy each other. This cabin is so homey and fits our needs. The hot tub, the fire pit, the game room for the guys to have their “man cave” to watch football, the view, sitting out on the deck and listening to the babbling water run over the rocks —-it’s all just so great! Laurie, the host was so accommodating and prompt with her replies to any questions you might have. You will not be disappointed !

We have wanted to take our three children and their families to the Mountains for a week of fun and relaxation. We chose Dancing Falls and are so glad . It did not disappoint! The home was perfect for our family. There was something for everyone. The home was spacious and fully stocked. It was everything and more than described. There were things to do for the kids at the resort as well. The owners went above and beyond to accommodate us. .We were an hour away from
Asheville, NC and all it had to offer. I highly recommend staying here. I’m hoping we can return in the near future!

We rented this cabin for our annual cousin’s trip and it was awesome! Super clean, great fire pit on the deck and the kitchen was perfect for gathering together and hanging out. The hosts were extremely accommodating as well letting us know the cabin was ready hours in advance which was exciting to get the vacation started early! It really was a great place to stay… and I’m pretty picky! Haha

We had a fantastic time at Dancing Falls Lodge for our Fall Crafting Retreat! Laurie was a fantastic host with great communication, and even let us have flexible check-in and check-out times with no hassle at all! The house instructions were clear and organized for directions, lock codes, hot tub use, and more. Plus there was plenty of room for groceries, cooking, and board game play for a large group of people. We will absolutely be back!!!

I help organize an annual trip for 12 guys to play golf. This was our 10th year and the first time we have returned to Lake Lure since 2019. We normally have stayed at the Fairway Villas, which are nice, but all of us being able to stay at the same house made the trip even better. The house was great, communication with owner was great, we all had a comfortable place to sleep, and we had a great time hanging out on the back deck by the fire pit. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

While the description says 5 bedrooms & 4 full baths, it was very embarrassing & a very unpleasant surprise at this price point to see that the 3 bedrooms upstairs share only 1 bathroom. (The next closest bathroom is down a long flight of stairs and across the living area….most inconvenient at night, so the 1 bathroom upstairs had to do.) And anyone using the farther one (on the main level) had to tote their clothes, toiletries, etc with them. It is very unusual to have a second full bath on the main level but no 2nd bedroom anywhere near it……especially at this price point! The written description does not say the “ bedroom 5” location, which is upstairs with the other 2. The most annoying part was that with all “senior” couples as guests, I specifically asked in advance if there was anything unusual about the house & was told nothing about this. After we got all of our collective stuff in & settled, the host did ask if we wanted to move to another place that “is not as conveniently set up”, and offered another option a day or so later. Otherwise, she was extremely available & helpful with Info & check-in & out times. Just be forewarned…

We stayed at Dancing Falls Lodge for our annual family vacation—3 families with 6 adults and 4 children. Our family is all about experiences and making memories, and Dancing Falls was the perfect choice. Well layed-out and equipped, we had everything we needed for spending time together cooking family meals and playing family games, but also finding separate spaces to quietly read a book or relax. Located in a secluded spot within the resort, with beautiful views from 3-levels of balconies, we were able to enjoy the outdoors — relaxing with a drink, soaking in the hot tub, enjoying the fire pit, and making s’mores. The property manager lives near and is attentive and responsive, ensuring guests have everything they need for the experience they desire.

Laurie was SO responsive and proactive sending us suggestions of when to go to the pools and the beach! She would randomly reach out to make sure everything was going well. I am widowed and took both my children and their families for Spring break 2022. We do at least one family trip a year. Lake Lure and this amazing home made for a very happy family time. Lots of room to spread out, many things in the house to entertain the grandchildren and beautiful views out every window. We had beautiful fires and ate in most nights. Easy to eat in with the well equipped kitchen. The house manager was all over the tho small problem we had. One tub wasn’t draining well. Laurie had a man there at 8:00 Sunday night to remedy the problem. I didn’t call her till Sunday afternoon. Amazing!

The house is beautiful, clean, well maintained, has everything you need. We played both golf courses here and both were great! Restaurant on property was very good, staff super nice. My group of 8 guys have been going on a golf trip for nearly 20 years in the late summer/early fall to the mountains of either Tennessee, NC, or Georgia. This year was NC and this house served our needs better than any we have rented during all our excursions. One of the most important criteria for a bunch of guys is having enough beds for each of us to have our own and this place had plenty of beds. It was clean, up to date, had 2 refrigerators, very convenient to our courses, plenty of amenities, a beautiful view from 2 different decks, and the owner was a pleasure to work with and very responsive to questions. Highly recommend if you are planning to take a trip to the Lake Lure area.
