✓ Freestanding single family home
✓ 4 bedrooms (2 on first floor)
✓ Limited steps and accessible roll-in shower on 1st floor
✓ Private driveway parking for 2+ vehicles
✓ 4-minute walk to Northstar Cafe at High and Deland
Walk to the Columbus Park of Roses in about 10 minutes. Drive to Riverside Hospital in 7 minutes, or make it downtown or to the airport in just 15 minutes!
You'll park in the private driveway and enter through the back door of the home, into the living room area. This is a "great room" which features gleaming hardwood floors, open living space with a TV, a dining table for four, and an open kitchen with two stools at the counter.
The first floor has two bedrooms, each with a queen bed, and one hallway bathroom which features a wide doorway and an accessible roll-in shower. One bedroom is in the "front room" of the house (the exterior front door is in this room). This is a larger room and also has a futon couch (folds flat into a full-size sleeper bed) as well as another TV.
The second floor has two additional bedrooms - one with two twin beds and another with a full bed.
The basement stairs are accessed from within the front bedroom. There is a kitchenette area down here with a minifridge and microwave. The laundry area and the second full bathroom are also in the basement.
And don't miss the outdoor space! The garage has an awning / carport area with a patio table and the back yard is large and private.
The home has some family-friendly features, including a high chair and a changing table on the dresser in the first bedroom. A pack-and-play or other items may be available on request - please ask us and we'll see what we can do!
You'll have access to the entire house, except for a locked supply cabinet in the basement. The garage will be locked and you will not have access to that area.
We rarely meet our guests in person, but we love our city and we're happy to share some tips on places to go and things to do!
Not kidding here: Clintonville was recently named the "Nicest Place in Ohio" by Reader's Digest. Here's a short excerpt from the article:
The Clintonville neighborhood in Columbus, Ohio is an older area of the city filled with a wealth of houses built in the early 1900’s, stately old trees, parks, shops, restaurants and possibly the highest density of Toyota Priuses per capita of anywhere you’ll find. The sense of community is really impressive here and our neighborhood recently gained national attention when two young aspiring musicians put on a porch recital for their 78 year old neighbor Helena Schlam while she was sheltering in place at home.
This home is on a quiet street in a residential neighborhood. No additional guests are permitted beyond the number confirmed on your reservation. The home has exterior security cameras and no parties or events are allowed.
The home has hardwood floors throughout the first and second floors and they can be a little creaky. If you're a light sleeper and your group will be sleeping / waking at different times, please be aware of this - light sleepers may want to take the upstairs bedrooms!
The TV does not have cable or access to any free live channels. It is a “smart” TV only. You will need to log into your own streaming accounts to play content on the TV.
