Located along 2nd Street, this historic three-story home is a testament to the area's past, with its classic architecture and well-preserved features. Cat lovers of all ages will appreciate the incredibly detailed gingerbread gracing all three floors front facade. Look closely--how many can you count? Sleeping up to 7 guests, this is a home meant to be appreciated. Upon entering, you'll be greeted by a welcoming atmosphere that seamlessly blends old-world charm with modern comforts. Oversize bay windows provide plenty of morning sunshine, illuminating the hardwood floors and the original staircase. The Parisian style parlor offers comfortable seating and antique furniture that brings you back in time. Vaulted ceilings, traditional in the time this home was built, lend an airiness that just can't be beat. The spacious kitchen, complete with a gas stove and all appliances, provides the perfect space for preparing delicious meals and gathering with loved ones. Coffeemaker, Keurig, toaster, blender--it's all here in the fully stocked kitchen. In the back of the house, the Cuba-themed family room offers comfy seating and a big screen TV with Roku service for any slower moving days you might want to enjoy. A full size bathroom is just off the family room. The heart of the home is the magazine worthy dining room, with custom valances in a beautiful tropical print, extra long dining table with plenty of seating, and a garden view to the backyard beyond. You must take in the incredible live oak just beyond the center of the yard, which is on the historic tree register with city hall. Upstairs, the two bedrooms on the second floor feature a king bed and a double bed plus laundry facilities, dedicated workspace in case you must work while here, and a full bath. The third floor is a former art studio, turned cozy loft game room. You'll find a twin and a double bed, providing ample sleeping arrangements for everyone. Step out on the private balcony and glimpse the open waters of the Gulf, beckoning you to the south. Enjoy playing games or cards at the table here, or use the provided kitchen sink for your own art project!
