About this house rental
Our Boulder home is a charming 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath oasis centrally located in the Wonderland Lake Wildlife Sanctuary neighborhood in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, 4 minutes north of Pearl Street. It's easy, very easy! As one guest said, location, location, location.
As of 2018, we have donated 50% of our earnings, minus fees, to the COMMON Foundation, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization benefiting people, the planet, and peace.
The Space
Our home is ideal if you're looking for a centrally located, comfortable, charming, and simple place to stay in Boulder that is green and Zen. You'll feel the peaceful energy as soon as you enter the house.
The house is a quarter of a mile (.25) from Wonderland Lake Wildlife Sanctuary, with access to miles of trails.
The living room receives sunrise and southern sun throughout the day, and the entire downstairs is painted with colorful, warm, and cozy hues. The upstairs is painted with relaxing and cool colors for a good night of rest. There are firm, queen-sized beds in each bedroom (3 total), making sleeping up to 5 comfortably possible.
The large kitchen has granite countertops, two convector ovens, a 6-burner gas stovetop, and all the tools you need to prepare meals for your group. We also have most smaller appliances (coffee maker, microwave, slow cooker, blender, etc.).
Enjoy the views of the Flatirons from the front porch, living room, and blue room upstairs, as well as views of the Historic Granary, open space, and foothills from the master bedroom.
We have a private backyard (wooden privacy fence) nicely landscaped with newly planted trees, flowering plants Spring through Autumn, a wood deck, a pave-stone patio, a propane grill, and a wood fire pit with seasoned wood ready for use.
We have high-speed wireless internet so that you can access your favorite movies or shows via your cable subscription, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, HBO, etc. We have a Smart TV, or you can use your own devices.
Our house is solidly built with six-inch exterior walls, double-pane windows rated 36 STC for quiet inside, solar panels, brand-new wood floors, and a new energy-efficient central air and heat system. We also have a washer and dryer available for your use.
Our home has loads of vibrant and thriving plants for clean air, and we also have a HEPA filter that constantly cleans the house's air so it remains fresh and eliminates allergens.
We have a dog who will never be at the house when you arrive, but we would like to inform everyone if you have dog allergies. Previous guests with allergies have commented that they've had no issues since we've created a hypoallergenic environment (wood floors throughout and thorough cleaning).
We have recycling, compost, and trash bins for sustainable waste management. Most light switches have dimmers so that you can adjust the lighting according to your needs.
Since we live in the city, we have white noise machines in both the blue bedroom and the Master bedroom for those more sensitive to sound, but we recommend bringing earplugs if you like it completely silent.
Our space is available for anyone visiting the Boulder area.
We do not discriminate based on race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, or disability. Come one, come all, but be a good human.
