Great fishing and family resort. Enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi, lounging, restaurants. They have some great people working there, can improve on having more customer focus staff in the guft shops. Those older ladies were rude. Otherwise, Aracely, Norma, Anival, and yhe bartenders in the morning are all wonderful. But the best was put captain Chuy in the Ruthbaby boat was amazing!!!

Overall a bizarre experience and fine if you are wanting to go to Mexico, but not be in Mexico.

The property seems as if its hey day has passed. The rooms are ok but there were issues with small bugs. The common areas are somewhat kept up but the small pool in the garden area was never cleaned or operational but it didn't have a sign stating it was closed only staff sayin when asked that it wasn't operational. The rinse shower from the beach is barely operational b/c the handles fall off the valves.
Not having complimentary coffee or a way to get ice for the room seemed cheap.
The inability to charge dining or other items to the room besides the pool bar is inconvenient.

Great hidden gem! Not too busy for such a large resort. Practically had the place all to ourselves. Felt very safe and not too far to explore other places around the area.

Beautiful beach, and the view is awesome. The pool was cold for me, but good for others. The only thing that I didn’t like is that the hotel does not have any umbrelas or chairs at the beach, there are no shadows to hide from the sun.
The hotel has a Disc golf course (5 baskets) but they need to clean some trash from the field. Nice jacuzzi!!!

This property is tired. Was hoping to stay for more than one night but ended up going elsewhere. Pool was dirty, room bedding very old, and on positive side wonderful location.

The property was fine, a nice location. The front desk and checkout stole $5,000 pesos from me and did nothing to correct this. I am not sure but it seemed to be a joined effort at checked charging me for incidentals.
Too bad because it is a nice property.

We were there for the music festival and it was fantastic. The hotel did a great job of providing the venue for a terrific event. The location of the property is on a beautiful stretch of the beach where we enjoyed a nice early morning walk. On a negative note, our room floor was dirty. I could feel the dirt on my feet as I walked barefoot....very gross! We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant but as the 4 wheel drive vehicles(dune buggies) raced by the property a cloud of dust covered our table and food....I'll probably upgrade to a nicer hotel next time in LB.

Don't be fooled by the response to this review. This hotel is quick to respond to poor reviews as if they care about your stay, but that is not the case. The room was full of an ant/termite type bug? The bed was awful the pillow was a sheet, the food was very expensive and awful. If you want to lay on the beach, you will need to pay 25.00 to rent an umbrella and a chair. I was unable to stay the second night of a four night stay. I communicated to the front desk that I was unable to stay another night and I was told that they would refund the three nights. When Travelocity called the front desk they refused to refund the three nights but did refund two of them. They claimed that we took a tour and used that as an excuse to not refund the three nights. We never took a tour? We were not expecting a 5 star experience but we were not expecting a total disregard for hygiene and such poor customer service?

The food and drinks on site were very expensive. I would not purchase food or drinks if I stayed there again. Coffee was $5 each and not great. Free coffee in the morning would have gone a long way in wanting us to visit again. We could have bought a coffee maker and saved money over our 7 day stay.

The exterior of the property was clean and well maintained. Beach easy to access. We arrived at night and the parking area was not well lit. It was much easier to understand the layout of the property the next morning.
