The German-speaking landlord lives in the opposite house and is happy to provide you with a rowing boat for a fee. In Bytow there is a crusader castle with a museum, which is definitely worth a visit. About 30 km away is the town of Swornegacie, where the Tucheler Heide nature park begins.
