About this campground/ rv resort rental
About this space
Reconnect with nature at this great location. Beautiful sunsets, short steps to our lake livingston waterfront, 3 piers, fishing, swimming, boating, small craft rentals or guided pontoon trips. This is a larger 36' rv with 2 slide outs, has water views from one slide out and its outside deck, is in nature but just 2 short miles from city of Onalaska grocery and restaurants.
The space
This is a nice, larger, 50 amp, 36' RV with 2 slides, light wood accents, 2 smart TVs, 70+mbps high speed wifi, 1 ton high SEER cold AC and heat mini split heat pump. It has water view from dining and couch chair but better view from outside deck and picnic area, short steps to the 3 piers & waterfront activities, its own campfire & charcoal bbq.
Guest access
Full access to the 36' rv, and large grassy area next to it and your large parking area. Shared access to 3 piers, water, boat rentals, medium shallow boat launch, fishing, swimming, etc
Other things to note
We are on a natural lake and there can be in the wetlands area across the street or in any uncleared brush, snakes, spiders, snapper turtles, alligator across the bridge, hawks, eagles, raccoons, etc. This in over 15 years that we've been here is no real danger but occasionally for a couple days usually in spring or early summer, mom alligator will come and drop off a baby alligator every couple years, stays with it a couple days then leaves. Baby tends to be about 3’ to max 3.5’ when this happens, is too small to be issue, can still only eat max size bullfrogs, kind of fun to watch, but then normally leaves as well within a few weeks cuz too much activity from us. Parks & Wildlife and licensed trappers both said to leave them alone when this small, just do what we normally do because most the little one can do is eat bullfrog and will leave to find different home if we keep up our activities. And after 10 + years we see this is correct.
