The check in process was very easy as Liam sent the codes in advance.
The place location is great with cafes and museums nearby. Going anywhere by foot takes no more thann10-15 mins.
The flat is beautiful, was very clean, it has all needed for the stay.
It is 100% recommendable!!

A sideway entrance by St. Giles into an apartment of comfort and relaxation. All the amenities for an enjoyable stay. I enjoyed the cleanness of the space, the quality of to the linen, the design of the assortment, the bedrooms quite apart and that there were two bathrooms. And Liam is a dream of a landlord. Always above and responsive even when away in vain in n America. Couldn’t have had a better stay!

You can't get better placed on Oxford. Great views. Short term parking nearby on st giles will get you unloaded, but otherwise, try not to bring a car.
The bells are crazy on Sunday morning, but that's part of the atmosphere.
Check in was easy once we worked out which way to rotate the lock.
No dryer, but clothes were dry in 24 hours on the rack. The climate thanks you. Well stocked for toilet paper, dish washer tablets and washing powder.
No mold, which is a first for oxford rentals.
The only slight negative is that the water pressure seems to be dependent on the use of water in the business downstairs. So time that shower early :).
Liam was incredibly responsive, especially when we temporarily locked ourselves out (too many key pad errors in a row when we let our youngest do the locks). In particular, the previous owner just sold the apartment, and Liam honored the booking, working with us to rebook it through vrbo at the original price just one week before our booking. He didn't have to do that (according to the vrbo booking conditions). What a gent.

My wife and I have made an annual visit to Oxford for more than 30 years. This property has the best location of any we've had. Very clean and we appreciated how easy it was to communicate with the owner. Check in procedures easy and clear.

Had a nice, but brief stay at Bridget’s apartment. Easy stroll to the best known Colleges, but also close to the Jericho neighborhood for fun eating options.

We had a great time staying at this house. The house was close to all the shops and restaurants that we explored. The house was within walking distance from the bus station. The house was clean and instructions were very clear. We would definitely stay here again.

Did not stay here after seeing the actual condition of the entry then shabby, poor condition of furnishings- depressing for such a beautiful city.
Probably a student apartment. The photos did not reflect the real condition.
Lost money as I did last fall in Florence Italy. As happened with this property- seems
that Vrbo knows that certain properties do not meet standards and drop protection coverage for traveler payment. So beware if your choice drops from view (photos) and is no longer a supported property. The questions for rating do not address real problems with owners and their properties.

Clean and well maintained. Walking distance to university and historic Oxford town.
Hostess is fantastic! Very attentive and shared information about the area.
We recommend this flat and will return.

I brought my husband and my 3-year-old toddler along with me from the USA to Oxford for a business trip. Taking care of toddlers on a long-haul flight and jet lags for work the next day was very exhausting, thanks to Bridget the host allowing us to pay a little bit extra just to have an earlier check-in upon our arrival. Bridget was very accommodating to my toddler’s needs by providing a cot and a high chair.
The place was exactly as described. It's right next to the church. The side entrance is adjacent to the church graveyard but there were still a lot of people passing along the sidewalk at 10 pm. Super safe and clean, very central location only 10 minutes walking to the city center and 15 minutes to Westgate. With all the nice restaurants and coffee places, you can find nearby. I just love Gail’s across the street it has the best flat white. The place has all the basic needs, a fully functioning kitchen with utensils and plates and, a nice bathtub. Another shower and toilet downstairs with the laundry alongside.
The street outside was busy during the daytime but it slowed down at night so we had a very good night's sleep.
If you have a large check-in luggage you might need extra help to climb up the stairs upon entrance and the stairs inside the house.
We are very satisfied with the place overall. Highly recommended.

First thing to mention is the amazing TLC of the property manager in that she was not only accommodating, but also she went above and beyond to ensure we were settled. Communication was extremely fast and prompt. Hats off to her.
The best part of the apartment is its location. You can walk the entire city from this location. You will be in walking distance to all the universities and attractions. The hop on hop off tour bus stop is very close.
There are some things that you should be aware of though. The location is right next to a crosswalk that beeps intermittently. You can tune it out but just be prepared for it. Also the water pressure is very weak and makes the bathtub not practical. Showering still works and the bathrooms are very clean. Also because of the age of all the buildings, be aware that the mobility might be a challenge as there is no lift.
If your main reason to come to Oxford is for the culture and history, then I don’t think you could do any better. You won’t worry about the noisy crosswalk as you will be out and about. Pubs and good restaurants are all around you. Also there are many grocery stores nearby.

The flat was just as described: large, clean and with everything you could need. The family were very impressed and the location was excellent, close to lots of bars, shops and the centre of town.

Great location and sweet owner. A little difficult to find from the street and unusual outside steps to access but very comfortable inside!

This is the perfect location for a stay in Oxford. It’s a short walk from the center of the city and close to everything. The host is fantastic and I’ve already booked my next visit.

This is a wonderful apartment from which to explore Oxford. The location is perfect. It’s close to restaurants, shops, and parks. It’s located in a wonderful old church, but is completely renovated and very comfortable. The owners are very pleasant and helpful.
We would look to stay here again in the future.

I chose this apartment in the heart of Oxford because we had family reuniting for a graduation and needed to be within walking distance of the college, the Sheldonian Theater, and the bus station. I was also hoping to cook meals to help with our travel budget. This lovely apartment checked all the boxes.

We had a wonderful time. I was there for a work trip, and my husband and mother toured around Oxford. Bridget was incredibly responsive. We did have a mechanical issue arise during our stay, but Bridget was very diligent about communicating and getting someone in to fix it. Great location to experience all of Oxford, very good restaurants and businesses in an easy walk.

Best location, well designed, ample room, clean and contemporary. I will be back.

This property was perfect for our family of three, in Oxford to celebrate our daughter’s masters degree conferral from Somerville College. The location keeps you close to all conveniences yet just far enough away from the city center to avoid the crowds. The owners have made the most of this unique property, keeping it clean and easy to enjoy. Thank you, Bridget, for your attentiveness and help to make this a forever memory for our family. We hope we have the opportunity to return soon!

My husband and I spent a total of seven weeks here this summer as well as four weeks in 2017. We love this flat and its location. We don't need a car to get around and can walk across the street to Brown's, around the corner to the restaurants on Little Clarendon, and have great access to Jericho. It's only an 18-minute walk to the train station. It's in the heart of Oxford. The bedrooms both have comfortable beds and storage. The kitchen is modern and furnished with high-end appliances. The kitchen supplies worked well for the way we cook on holiday. Plenty of dishes, utensils, and cookware.
Bridget and Craig were very responsive to any questions we had during our stay as well as the booking process.

Beautiful property and having access to laundry was a great benefit.

In a wonderful location, just a block or two from everything. We biked, toured, and walked around to most anywhere we could think of. Beds were comfy, baths modern, and it was great to be able to do laundry. The flat is nestled into St Giles church, and once a day the bells chime around you. Magical. If you’re cooking, the kitchen is small but professional. If you’d like to eat out, beautiful restaurants abound just a few blocks away. Try the Japanese Ramen place on St Giles or the Wilding Wine Bar for amazing food and drink. For three adults, it fit us. Not much space to spread around in, but I felt clearly like an Oxford grad student as I pedaled to class!
