Incredible van build produced by VANWORKS. This is a brand new 2023 Ford Transit Trail 4x4 - Switchback custom model from Vanworks. We built this van for our family and took all of the care to get exactly the perfect outfit for our family. The van accommodates 4 people - while it can be for four adults, I think it works best for 2 adults and 2 smaller people. The backseat has two belted seats and is DOT-approved. The two captains chairs (front seats) swivel around to the back for use at the table and access while parked. The kitchen is stocked with our favorite kitchen gear, including the following: - Efficient on board fridge with (small) freezer. - 1 induction extra large burner - Hex Clad Kitchen pans including 1 x 3qt Pot, 1 x 12" fry pan and 1 x 13" griddle - Coffee Station with Fellow insulated French Press coffee maker - 5 complete sets of dishware from Full Windor - the best magnetic, stainless steel plates and silverware on the market! Each set includes Spoon, Fork, Knife, Dinner plate, Small plate, Large Bowl and Small bowl. - 6 x 20 oz Insulated Yeti Stackable cups - Basic kitchen needs including spices, oil, knives, Epicurean cutting boards, can opener, bottle opener, spatulas, scissors, sponge and kitchen towels. The van is equipped with a 3000w Yeti power station and 400watts of onboard solar to charge while not connected to shore power. There is also a shore power port to plug into an active outlet. Depending on use and weather, the solar power can keep the van and fridge working for about 3-4 days without being connected to power. The Sleeping arrangements include a queen-size bed on the top shelf, complete with our favorite luxury Bamboo linens from Cozy Earth, a down-alternative comforter, and premium pillows. The lower beds (two singles) include a soft sleeping bag-style sheet, a Rumpl comforter, and a premium pillow. There is an option for an onboard "Dry Toilet." THe Kitchen seat has a swivel desk that folds out of the way and has a toilet underneath. The dry toilet works with a cartridge system (all additional add-ons) that will seal waste after use to contain smells and sight. Each cartridge includes approx 15 flushes. The van includes a 20-gallon fresh water tank and a 5-gallon grey water tank for the kitchen sink. There is only cold water at the sink, and an optional hot water system for outside showers can be added. There is plenty of storage on board with small storage cubbies along the length of the van and larger storage areas for gear under the two single beds. Van is equipped with an on board heater that works off of the gas in the gas tank. It also features an adjustable ceiling fan to pull air in or out at different speeds. All windows have window covers. The sliding door and the back door both have full coverage bug screens. The roof rack will also allow for additional storage for items to be stored on top. The van is a 4-wheel drive vehicle; however, it is NOT intended to be an off-road vehicle. It must be kept on maintained roads. The long length behind the rear axle makes it difficult to get up and down steep inclines or rocks without damaging the van. While this van is equipped for all adventures, we are a mountain bike family and have additional accessories to make this van the perfect bike trip companion!
