About this campervan rental
A DO model from Vandoit this is your ultimate Alaskan vehicle. A upfitted 2022 mid roof, AWD Ford Transit its perfect as a gear hauler and people hauler, it seats 8 and easily holds 8 people’s worth of gear. With upgraded suspension, lift and tires this van can get your entire crew to wherever you want to go for your Alaskan adventure.
The interior of a DO is totally customizable. A fridge/freezer, potable/hot water system including outdoor shower enclosure, full size platform that can be used for a bed or storage, and cassette type dry toilet can be included in the van if desired. Or left out to maximize space!
Additional usable small accessories such as dishes, bedding, silicone kettle, camp stove, device charger, toiletries etc are also available for an additional fee.
The interior features custom leather seats and a vinyl floor, making it easy to use when going fishing or bringing a pet. There is also a bug wall for the main sliding door, overhead storage as well as a storage cabinet built into the lithium battery case. The electrical system features roof mounted solar panels and 400a lithium batteries and inverter. There are AC and DC outlets throughout the van and a gear slide in the back that holds up to 750 lbs. There is also a Thule awning on the passenger door side and a full roof platform and rails for additional cargo space on the roof. The 2022 AWD FORD Transit 6 cylinder eco boost engine can also handle towing your toys no problem and is additionally equipped with trailer brake controls. KO2 tires give the van additional height and the upgraded suspension make driving Alaskan roads simple and comfortable. The Kamvan is WiFi equipped , as long as you are in an area with service. There are dual Maxfan fans mounted in the roof that are capable of running 24/7 off the solar in case you need to leave your dog in the car while you head into the store. There is also an Espar furnace that keeps the van toasty even in Alaskan winters.
The best part of a DO is that you can truly DO anything in this van. Haul kids, drive anywhere, camp anywhere, take it fishing, take the kayaks, side by side or anything else. We can make it fit your trip for you.
