Great quiet family cottage time !

Cottage was very comfortable with all utilities like gas stove, BBQ, AC etc. very clean and in perfectly working conditions. A store at walking distance that sells everything u need for cottage or camping..including ice cream 🙂 Hosts are kind and nice folks to talk to..highly recommended place!

Wi-Fi speed could be better. But we had our phones with LTE and lots of data..so had no issues at all.

Superb

Location was good about 10 min drive to main sauble beach. Perfect for families. Wifi good. New tv’s. Fire pits available at site. Hosts were great.Pet friendly. Comfortable beds.

there are places much better for your value!! mould is unacceptable.

the size of the cottage

the mould smell and evidence of mould. you can clearly see mould circles on some of the art work on the walls and the smell hits you as soon as you enter. for what is being charged it is shameful. not a single penny in upgrades since the 1970s. stove barely worked and you don’t want to use their horrible pots and pans. even the towels look like they’ve been in circulation for 20 years at least. I would never stay here again and strongly recommend that others do more research. they are changing an arm and a leg and these cottages do not warrant the fee. also don’t be fooled by “private” 7 acres…you are literally sandwiched between other cottages with zero privacy!!

Good stay.

I like cleanness of the property. Our cottage was under mature trees so cottage was never to hot. Closeness to the Sauble Beach. Host was very friendly also we have a nice location for a bone fire.

Mosquitos in the evenings but that expectable in July.

Great hosts! June and Frank are incredible,always ready to help you with all your concerns.We'll be coming back! Sunny Birch is like our second home!

Near by the beach

lot of renovations needed not enough space for four adults. TV, stove old fashion. Water smell very bad. Not enough seat for 4 adults in the living room Bath room not comfortable: not enough space to take a shower you need to squeeze in order to take a shower The location is good.

All the inatalations are very old, the wifi signal is very low and interrupted.

Exceptional stay

The owner was extremely friendly and made sure we were comfortable during our stay. The cottage was very clean and organized, had everything we needed, from sheets ans towels to pans and small appliances and the location was really good. There was a fire pit and bbq just outside our cottage. Finally, it was a peaceful and relaxing stay, in the middle of nature and in a very quiet location. I definitely recommend it!

Awesome time and would highly recommend a stay at Sunny Birch, we'll be back :-)

Frank, June & Brad were great hosts, friendly and very helpful. The cottages are in a great location, a 10 minute walk to the beach and plenty to do in the area, hiking, golfing, swimming, boating etc.

The cottage was perfect for us and the only suggestions would be the beds could be more comfortable and hooks in the bathrooms & bedrooms for towels etc would be helpful.

Was warmly welcomed by Brad, and had a relaxing 2 week stay there.

Friendly staff and owners. Clean and well maintained cottage.

The listing on booking.com says their is a/c but we did not have a/c. The suite was cool enough, so we didn't actully need it.

Very nice stay

The location within the area is perfect, in the middle of forest type surounding and close to a beautiful sand beach with absolutly no stones whatsover. The water is crystal clear and turquoise blue like in Greece or medeterainian sea. We know because we are from Europe. BBQ and firepits availabe as a full kitchen in the cottage itself and WiFi, great. Owners are nice and very helpfull. Sauble beach itself is a very nice laid back town. Populated with Surfers, Canoeers and bathers and every evening with beautiful sunsets in lake Huron.

The equipment is old and some not always functioning well. With a little effort from the owners all these are solved within a minute. Probably all was setup in the nineties or so but ending its lifecycle. Airco was perfect though. The cottages are setup criss-cross so eating outside or reading a book can be challeging when everyone walks and passes along. But that is the idea of the site, that everyone mingels and spent time together. Well that can be nice but with everyone? Its nice to be in your own environment as well sometimes...
