It's historic. Living off that charm without actually being charming. Clean but not in great condition. Amenities lacking, as was breakfast (although a voucher was provided for use on a limited menu at cafe next door that did not have great reviews).Took 30 minutes to check in with no queue.

It’s good it have free tea, coffee and hot water.
Very convenient to restaurant and super market.

Parking was street parking only and the parking "designated" by the hotel was all taken because it was free street parking for many businesses. We were able to find parking but it was a walk with our luggage. Staff was efficient but dismissive. Could hear every conversation of neighboring rooms.

I know this is a historic hotel but the men I walked in it was dark and dingy the red carpet on the floor look like it needed cleaning steam cleaning and had an odor. My room had a bathroom, but that room smell too carpets look dirty, and didn’t wanna walk, barefoot Would not stay there again

This area demands high cost.
The first morning there was a lot noise at 0600.
The 2nd and 3rd mornings it was very quiet.
Bathroom small.

Very historical which was great but needs some deep cleaning. Spent 2 nights and bed wasn’t made for us on return from our day out on day 2 and had to request clean towels. We didn’t feel we should have to make that request at that price point of hotel rate. Breakfast was very good at restaurant next door.

Do not stay here! Great location and the gent that checked me in (white hair and beard) was great in every way. No one else was. One female said her family had owned the hotel since 1958 (job security?) be described by words not appropriate here. The second morning (departure) I saw a note stuck under my wiper to stay parked because they sealed the road. i showed her and asked why they had not told me. Note when we got back the prior afternoon the tour bus dropped us off at the front door. Initially she claimed no knowledge whatsoever and suggested I talk to the “boys in blue” across the street. They told me every business there had been informed. When I went back and told her she did not contest what I said but implied I was a dummy for not noting there was a sign at every street corner warning of this. So riddle me this, how did she go from knowing nothing to knowing there was a sign on every corner, “if only I knew how to read.” She continued to be combative and denying any responsibility to inform her customers throughout the rest of the conversation. This time she followed me out and commented why I was the only car there. There were other cars further down the block and a number of parking places not sealed visibly showing there had been a car there when the work was done. When I said that she said something like she sure hoped I learned how to read. As I left I said I would never be back and she replied ‘just go home.” A job/company dependent upon tourism behaves so?

The place was fun to stay. Extremely friendly and caring staff. However, one minor thing is the tv. I wish they had smart tv which we could have hooked up with our own shows. Location is very conveniently close to the park entrance. Overall we enjoyed our stay quite a bit.

What a fantastic place to stay! We loved how old and beautiful this place is. 112 years old and it’s still standing. There is just so much character here. And the staff were so friendly. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it. The restaurant next door is also great!

This was the first time I went to Yellowstone, it was the perfect hotel, right by the entrance of the park. Plenty of wonderful restaurants within walking distance. Our room was large, clean and the beds were very comfortable

This is a 112 year old building. It reminded me of something right out of an old western movie. Our room was small but we had our own bathroom and a king size bed which was very comfortable. The man at the front desk was very nice and very informative about the area. He gave us coupons to save money on our meal at the restaurant next door and free passes to the rodeo that was just outside of town. I loved this historic motel hotel and would absolutely stay here again!!
